You’ve been patiently grinding for 4 years, waiting for your turn, knowing your time is coming. All of your hard work is about to pay off! And then you wake up one morning and open your twitter account to see 4 and 5 star SENIORS from hundreds of miles away transferring in to take away a majority of your playing time. If you're not the best at what you do, you'll be replaced eventually. If the kid isn't a team player, he can just transfer to one of the lower-level, irrelevant TL teams. Doesn’t sit well with me. It doesn’t sit well with most people but that is the harsh reality of the real world. Nobody should be entitled to anything. Whether it is sports or work, the best person should always be the one that plays or gets the job. Sadly it doesn’t work this way. I have no problem with a 3-year starter being replaced by a Freshman or a transfer if they are better. In the case of Jurrion Dickey, I hate that he is a Senior transfer and the whole optics of the situation, especially in light of all the dirt that MD was dragged through after last season. Make the transfers okay up to Senior year. 1 semester transfer mercenaries is stupid as hell. This is high school football.
