STA is the only one allergic to that grand idea. they don’t wanna tarnished their brand. It’s also why they don’t play IMG. But they do go on the road to take on any and all out of state powers. So I respect them on that level. Locally, I understand. They don’t want to compete even more for players in South Florida. There are too many super teams down there to begin with. Nolebull813 Posted November 28, 2022 Share Posted November 28, 2022 In the last 10 years they have played AHP three times, Cardinal Gibbons, Miami Central, Miami Northwestern, Booker T Washington and Columbus. Cardinal Gibbons hasn’t always been good. They just started this with DeBuc. Same with Chaminade. And there might be some bad blood between the staffs between STA and Chaminade. Maybe it stems back from when Roger Harriot was at U School. You would have to ask them. Also if you think about it there is no upside for STA.
