I think the jury is still out on Lipscomb. Milton was a decent win, but isn’t Milton supposed to be a little more down this year than they have in recent years? Thompson getting blown out the way they did surprised me. I expected them to put up a better fight. They were sloppy with all those turnovers. They better correct that shit by next week. Lipscomb has a really good defense. Hoover losing to Auburn is not THAT huge of an upset. Auburn has made decent runs in their playoffs the last few years. They should’ve beaten Thompson two years ago in the title game. St. Ed is better than tier 5. First game against a decent Toledo CC team isn’t easy. They would beat them a lot worse with a couple games under their belts. I was impressed with Moeller lighting up Washington. Looking forward to their game with DBP. Where would you put Skyridge(UT)? With Lone Peak getting taken out behind the woodshed by Timpview and Corner Canyon getting thumped by BG, Skyridge looks to be the best in Utah.

Speaking of non power teams, I would love to see a bowl game between the little guys. Say the Vermont champ taking on the New Hampshire champ. Or, perhaps a battle of the North and South Dakota champs. Something like that…

I like seeing these interesting matchups. It doesn’t always have to be super powers clashing.

Because a computer can’t beat humans for a full season. We’ve already tried that and CP was no better than middle-of-the-pack.

I appreciate that train of thought, but it’s not the ONLY reason to justify a high ranking. Teams can be good enough, regardless of their schedules.
