    That had to be disappointing. I think MC could’ve put up a decent fight against one of the Jersey Boys. I’m still disappointed that Oakland chickened out against Liberty,NV. It appears David Lipscomb is the only team in Tennessee with any balls! Lol

    I think Memorial Cath could’ve challenged a top 70-150 nationally ranked team last year and, maybe, this year as well. Xaverian Bros is well known to me and I’ve never lived in the northeast.

    Props for X to try and schedule them, but that would’ve been a bloodbath.

    If they’re going to be as good as they were last year they will definitely be a top 100 team this year, and that’s no nonsense!

    What part of Tennessee did you move to? If you’re near Knoxville you should venture just south to Blount county and catch the Maryville/Alcoa game. It’s an intense rivalry. Alcoa’s a smaller school, but will take on any of the big boys in TN.

    For once a state association is using common sense and reducing the amount of classes. The playoffs will be very interesting now. Doesn’t FL have 8 classes now? Too many. TN likes their watered down champions. 6 classes are WAY too many for their population.

    It looks like DL is the only TN team with some balls! Lol (I’m still butt hurt that TN’s best, Oakland, chickened out of playing Liberty)

    I’m hearing Nashville Lipscomb is traveling to Birmingham to take on AL state champ Thompson. Is this true or just rumor?

    Solid schedule. It’s good to see Corner Canyon finally stepping up to rep Utah.

    Oakland was scared to play Henderson Liberty at home. They would NEVER schedule a team like SFA. Lipscomb, however, has balls and would take them on. They wouldn’t win, but they would try. Lol

    Cornerstone is traveling to Nashville to take on Brentwood Academy. That could be an interesting game. Not sure how good Cornerstone will be this year?

    Would rather see MD vs SFA this year. It's looking like SFA might be preseason #1 in most polls.....

    Jesus! 9 classes now!? I agree with you with about the participation trophies. I've been bitching about this for Tennessee for years, to no avail. TN has 5 classes when they should have no more than 3 based on population of the state. Back when I played there we had 3 classes (that included the privates). The playoffs were no joke back in those days. A state championship was definitely earned back then. I miss that!

    Just curious…how many of those games were actually played out of state?

    It can’t be a top GA team they are trying to play. If they were scared of playing Henderson Liberty I doubt they want a power team. (Maybe they got Liberty confused with Gorman 🙄).
