    Cocoa has always been a scrappy smaller school. Kind of like Aledo in Texas. Cocoa/Aledo….make it happen GSB.

    The big 5 (MD,SJB,IMG,Gorman and SFA) would blow out most teams not ranked in the top 10 in the nation. Obviously, St. Frances is off that list this year. Teams ranked 5-10 will usually dessimate those teams in or near the top 25 as well. That is why Chaminade-Madonna was STILL a top 25 team last year after getting blown out by Gorman. So, don't pull the plug just yet on Bergen. They may very well end up with a top 25 ranking when it's all said and done.

    They almost came back! It’s looking like Baylor and McCallie again for top honors in Tennessee. On a side note, what’s up with Brentwood Acad. this year? They got thumped by Father Ryan last night.

    I’m assuming you’re using Calpreps as your ranking system. You and everyone on here know that they give all the Cali teams a big boost in their system. Still, no excuse to lose to a middle of the road Kentucky team…..

    Looks like Lips mob’s gonna have a tough road this year. Especially with that transfer QB gone now. Last I checked Baylor was up 24-10.

    I know SOS is the most important element for you. It’s only PART of the equation for me. It’s an important part, of course, but not my tell all.

    Maybe. As it stands now I had them at #11 last week, behind Mill Creek by a smidgeon. None of the teams ahead of them lost. However, Buford struggled a bit with N. Cobb for 3 quarters. I haven’t decided what I’m going to do yet….🤔

    I have 3 for sure in the No Nonsense poll (IMG, C-M and MC, of course). STA and AHP are close. I won’t know until I examine all the data after the weekend is over.

    Baylor is not on that level this year. Losing to Rabun Gap proved that from the get go (SHP and Stepinac may be average teams from that area, but at least Baylor did what they were supposed to and blew them both out). It’s looking like McCallie is the team to beat this year. Maybe they recruited Chattanooga better this off season. They are arch rivals and flip flop every year. It’s McCallie’s turn this year. Now watch Baylor beat McCallie this year. Lol

    Baylor lost to Rabun Gap and Oakland got thumped by Center Grove.

    Two big Chattanooga games with St. X coming to town. Good chance for TN to represent (or get pie in their face). It’s been embarrassing for TN so far lol.

    It won’t be easy. They got moved up to the big school private division. They still have to play at Baylor, Chr. Bros.(MO) and McCallie. Also, Ensworth appears to have a decent squad this year (dominated MBA 17-3). Plus, they would face one (or all) of those TN teams in the playoffs again. Tough gauntlet!

    Decent poll after just one week. I might not have dropped Lipscomb that far and I don’t think Oakland is quite top 50 yet. If they go up to Greenwood and beat CG then I will reconsider.

    I like that they threw Walton in there. I’ve liked what I’ve seen from them so far. Who knows, they might even crack the No Nonsense top 25 next week…..

    Tough way to start the season right out of the gate. They “should” win the rest of their games, but they have a tough schedule.
