Interesting description.  Your #2 team playing an unranked team from Texas is the #1 game of the season.  Isn't #1 playing #1 and #2 playing #3?

1 plays 4.

3 plays against 2, 5 and 6.

There are other good match ups. I get how Cali versus Texas has the appeal. That alone makes it an intriguing game.

CA vs TX trumps all others.

How can it when you think Texas is at best the #3 state for HSFB?  You have other matchups between higher ranked teams and those within your #1 and #2 ranked states for football.

Please, you talk out both sides of your mouth. A few months ago you were bumping your gums about if ppl don’t show up for the Desoto/DV doubleheader (they won’t sell out) then the Texas fan hype is fake

We all know the TX #1 nationally in fan passion, game pageantry, stadium sizes and attendance!

Who produces more D1 talent?(besides Fla)  You keep spouting this narrative that 2 states produce more, let’s see your source.

There's no doubt that TX spawns talented players. However, recent game results at the highest levels vs IMG and MD show substantial FL and CA prowess. Hoping that DeSoto and Allen show better in 2022 to assist your argument.

You said talent. Creating a system that clusters talent to a few schools doesn’t mean the state has more talent. Let’s see the other programs in CA not named MD and SJB step up and do anything. You’re entire argument hinges on MD and SJB that’s it!

Desoto was 6-6 the year they lost to IMG. what did IMG do to 6-6 level Cali or Fla teams?

IMG is not a Florida team and not indicative of FL HSFB.

Mater Dei is the outlier in California and does not represent the strength of the state. Mater Dei and SJB recruit all of So Cal. They are not typical high school football teams. That’s not what all the football looks like.

When a recruited up private beats a zoned public school from another state, it doesn’t show the strength or weakness of anything.

SJB beating Allen won’t prove anything other than when you stack and all star team, you can beat zoned neighborhood schools in a football game

Doesn't Alen have like 7,000 students? A FL guy making excuses for TX! Smh

Plano schools have that much and they aren’t nationally elite powerhouses. Enrollment of a school doesn’t determine football success once you go over 2,000.

Plano is made up of multiple 6A schools.  Allen is a one school town with Lucas Lovejoy getting a very small portion of Allen. You set up one school towns like Allen across the country,  many schools become much much better

And Servite beat the SIB all star team by 3 scores

Why do Fla football elites avoid each other like the plague?

winning a state championship in Fla does not represent anything.  If the top Fla programs were in the CIF SS in the Max preps era 95%would have all lost to teams not named MD or SJB

#3 in talent; #1 in fan pa$$ion

Lol - How in the God's name can you be in any football business and believe the state of Texas is 3rd in talent.

Texas and Florida are really close (see nfl draft and current # of players in the NFL)

GA has moved past California in producing talent!!!  Get over the two super recruited cali teams and you will see that the State of California has been trending down for over decade.

You don’t know that because they would have had the same chances to stack all star teams like those 2 to compete

The same reason the WCAC schools won't schedule SFA. The loser of those games would undoubtedly lose ballers (current and future) to the winners.

I agree that STA, CM, CG and AHP should all be playing each other annually. Only one of those teams is preventing this from happening.

Probably STA and their -32 Mendoza rating.  #embarrassing
