There's no doubt that TX spawns talented players. However, recent game results at the highest levels vs IMG and MD show substantial FL and CA prowess. Hoping that DeSoto and Allen show better in 2022 to assist your argument.

Creating a system that clusters talent to a few schools doesn’t mean the state has more talent. Let’s see the other programs in CA not named MD and SJB step up and do anything. You’re entire argument hinges on MD and SJB that’s it! Desoto was 6-6 the year they lost to IMG. what did IMG do to 6-6 level Cali or Fla teams? Nolebull813
IMG is not a Florida team and not indicative of FL HSFB. Mater Dei is the outlier in California and does not represent the strength of the state. Mater Dei and SJB recruit all of So Cal. They are not typical high school football teams. That’s not what all the football looks like. When a recruited up private beats a zoned public school from another state, it doesn’t show the strength or weakness of anything. SJB beating Allen won’t prove anything other than when you stack and all star team, you can beat zoned neighborhood schools in a football game

Allen is a one school town with Lucas Lovejoy getting a very small portion of Allen. You set up one school towns like Allen across the country, many schools become much much better
pied
Allen certainly enjoys a lot of advantages and has been able to make the most of them in the past. SJB is making the most of their advantages now.

Texas and Florida are really close (see nfl draft and current # of players in the NFL) GA has moved past California in producing talent!!! Get over the two super recruited cali teams and you will see that the State of California has been trending down for over decade.
