Bodysurf Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 This is not even Bosco's biggest game this season. 1 Quote

That alone makes it an intriguing game. 1 Quote

You have other matchups between higher ranked teams and those within your #1 and #2 ranked states for football. Quote

A few months ago you were bumping your gums about if ppl don’t show up for the Desoto/DV doubleheader (they won’t sell out) then the Texas fan hype is fake We all know the TX #1 nationally in fan passion, game pageantry, stadium sizes and attendance! There's no doubt that TX spawns talented players. However, recent game results at the highest levels vs IMG and MD show substantial FL and CA prowess. Hoping that DeSoto and Allen show better in 2022 to assist your argument. Quote

Creating a system that clusters talent to a few schools doesn’t mean the state has more talent. Let’s see the other programs in CA not named MD and SJB step up and do anything. You’re entire argument hinges on MD and SJB that’s it! Desoto was 6-6 the year they lost to IMG. what did IMG do to 6-6 level Cali or Fla teams? Edited July 14, 2022 by Horsefly Quote
Nolebull813 Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 IMG is not a Florida team and not indicative of FL HSFB. Mater Dei is the outlier in California and does not represent the strength of the state. Mater Dei and SJB recruit all of So Cal. They are not typical high school football teams. That’s not what all the football looks like. When a recruited up private beats a zoned public school from another state, it doesn’t show the strength or weakness of anything. SJB beating Allen won’t prove anything other than when you stack and all star team, you can beat zoned neighborhood schools in a football game 3 Quote

Allen is a one school town with Lucas Lovejoy getting a very small portion of Allen. You set up one school towns like Allen across the country, many schools become much much better 2 Quote

So, maybe 3,500 would be a pool of kids to play football for Allen. Serious question....Is there any other four-year high school in America with 3,500 boys in it? 1 1 Quote

If the top Fla programs were in the CIF SS in the Max preps era 95%would have all lost to teams not named MD or SJB Quote

Texas and Florida are really close (see nfl draft and current # of players in the NFL) GA has moved past California in producing talent!!! Get over the two super recruited cali teams and you will see that the State of California has been trending down for over decade. 1 Quote

The same reason the WCAC schools won't schedule SFA. The loser of those games would undoubtedly lose ballers (current and future) to the winners. I agree that STA, CM, CG and AHP should all be playing each other annually. Only one of those teams is preventing this from happening. Quote
