If MC has a down year and happen to lose to a Georgia team, that would just be another in the line of Georgia playing a Florida nobody, as in the case with the Godby"s of the state. Once good, now not so and they fall into the category with Norland, another that today is his trash that Georgia plays, not the team they were. Not sure about that one. Hughes is stacked and Spartanburg comes from a non power state which is fine if you are the top 1 or 2 teams from said state. But they weren’t even top 8 in SC. Georgia has the worst schedules of any power state by far and it’s not close. This year there are 40 games between teams from the GHSA (Georgia) and the FHSAA teams (Florida) And 35 of the 40 the Georgia team was higher in their state than the Florida team was in theirs. Georgia teams are cowards. Only a small handful of coaches who will actually step up and play top comp. Those are not teams a powerhouse shouldn’t be playing. They are decent teams for their area but not the state.
