I'm not saying AHP isn't talented, they are They HAVE had better teams talent wise and anyone in SFL can probably prove this if they did enough research That season the Patriots finished #7 in FL and #136 nationally. This team is way more talented as a whole, and its current rankings are proving it.
Columbiafan
It's not a knock on this AHP team, it's a reality that they have been a very damn good program over the years that even a very talented roster this year that would be one of the most loaded rosters for most programs history isn't because they have had a lot of very talented players come through that program in the past decade

They finished that low because they got upset by a talented Hallandale team in the second round of the playoffs who was also very good I don't think you realize just how good SFL and Broward County was that season, it was probably the most loaded SFL was in the past 2 decades and it was definitely the best season by Broward County
Columbiafan
There were probably 5 or 6 programs who had their best team in the last 20 years all at the same time and a lot of these teams were in the same bracket

GardenStateBaller
Class 7A Maxwell has Mill Creek ahead of Buford in Region 8, and Parkview ahead of Grayson in Region 4, and that’s counter to GHSF Daily’s rankings, but regardless of how those regions play out, the eventual No. 2 seed will be held accountable for its shortcomings. The Buford-Mill Creek region runner-up is bracketed to play potential Region 5 champion North Cobb on the road in round two, while the Parkview-Grayson second seed would play at projected Region 1 winner Colquitt County. Maxwell also thinks No. 10 Kennesaw Mountain and No. 8 Lowndes will be traveling in round one on account of tough regions. Maxwell sees Colquitt County-Mill Creek and Buford-Valdosta in the semifinals, with Colquitt winning.
