Social media completely changed high school football, especially in Southern California.

lol social media is big everywhere.  The only thing that has changed in California is the level of commitment to recruiting aka poaching players from very large populated area’s.

The term "poaching" has a negative connotation. Private high schools can legally recruit all they want. It's mandatory in order to keep the doors open annually. The TL teams are no different than teams like Dallas Jesuit, Strake Jesuit, Parish Episcopal, Midland Christian, etc in this respect. Their national profiles and successes on and off the field are a driving force.

Volume of and amount of people are two different things. You’re the number one offender

You’re just too soft to take criticism of certain Cali teams. That’s a “you” problem. Gtfoh

This is a sports forum where many views will be expressed, even those you may not like. Get over it.

lastly, I speak for myself, I’m not a spokesperson for all of Texas.

Did I say social media wasn't big everywhere? This is a high school football forum chief. We're talking hs football and how social changed the landscape on where kids go.

Texas fans have been awfully sensitive lately.

Back to his alma mater Bishop Amat.

If you read between the lines it is obvious that Servite won't have the personnel this upcoming season to execute his offense.   Servite said they have to change the scheme based on the personnel they have to run it.

Once Servite gets another 4* QB and WR there is a good chance they will change coordinators again.  Very few teams can reload 4*QB every year and run a college level passing game.

These are "Shoes Brinkley" stats for the Covid Spring season in 2021.  I don't see him on the roster for the 2021 fall season.

Kid’s family moved to Cali before his senior year. He was a solid contributor and very good player.
