California is artificially inflated. The 2 all star teams have ungodly ratings and it bumps up all their opponents and their opponents opponents and so on. DLS finished 3rd nationally the year they lost to STA 30-6. STA finished outside the top 100. How is it possible you can lost 30-6 to a non-top 100 team and finish 3rd? It means the algorithm is preset to include a California bias. So don’t be so sure that these teams around the country aren’t as good as calpreps says they are compared to California teams. Just need pen to paper regardless if the game is over by a quarter. International School of Broward signed up for ass whoopings and that didn’t make the game good. Crazier things have happened.
