Google Bayonne against Hackensack for the state title.  Veteran’s Stadium was the worst.  And at that time in early December, there was ice and snow and dirt.  No grass.  lol  Hackensack claimed that Bayonne illegally changed their cleats at the half.

Nothing compared to Miller Stadium in WNY. One of the end zones sloped up hill and was not a regulation 10-yard end zone. Plus the rocks, divots, etc. made for Russian roulette on the ankles. Not to mention that when we played baseball, you had to be a decent fielder or you lost a couple of teeth on ground balls. Fun times. 😂

Yes.  I remember.  I played there.  I also sat on that hill to watch my brother against Eugene Napoleon of your school.
