This makes it where the suburban teams don’t have to compete for real titles against metro teams

It’s like the group of 5 college teams breaking off from the FBS and only competing against each other and crowning a national title. It’s like Cincinnati, UCF, Boise State, Toledo etc etc only playing each other and then saying they are national champs just like Alabama or Georgia

South Sumter High is in Bushnell FL. It’s a po dunk town with more cows than people. It’s in the middle of nowhere where there are more confederate flags than American ones.

And they beat the shit out of Eustis, Hernando, Mt Dora, and Newberry. All towns bigger or equal to Bushnell.

Now what built in advantages does South Sumter have that makes them way better than those towns/teams?

you can’t get an answer

The argument was suburban teams don’t have access to studs like metro teams do.

But the funny thing is I can find 1,000 examples every year where rural teams are beating the crap out of other rural teams. So what is their excuse then?

And to add, there are several metro area teams that still can't compete. Do they get to be apart of the "Suburban" class so they can have a chance?

Won’t serious rural ballers now transfer to the closest metro teams?

From 1963 to 1993 only 13 combined South Florida schools won state titles. That's it! Did the schools down here B***h and complain? No! They got better and did what they needed to do. Now that others schools are in the same boat as other highly populated others they want to cry "It's not fair!!" When you cry long enough, you get what you want.

Exactly. North Florida was winning state titles in bunches back in the 80’s and 90’s. Straight dominance.

But then South Florida started rising in the 2000’s and on and now all of a sudden it’s an issue

Mannn, I was hoping it would be St. Thomas Aquinas vs Duncanville. They were supposed to play in 2020.

Wonder who the tentative Florida team is that Duncanville is slated to play this year.

Why can’t it still be STA? Doesn’t DV have a week 2 and 3 opening?

They do, but GSB mentioned that STA’s top out of state opponent is SJP so I figured it wasn’t Duncanville after all. But perhaps it’s because that game isn’t finalized yet and SJP vs STA is.
