I don't ever recall there being that many transfers at any time at MD. This is a typical and common misconception about MD. The VAST majority of their players enrolled as freshman. In fact, I can think of only 1 transfer on the roster this season. The year before, 2. The year before, 4. Way more kids transfer out than transfer in. Now Bosco- that's a different story... Their own some form of athletic scholarship to attend Mater Dei. Alumni money, grants, scholarships or some forms of AID..
