After the Colquitt game, Lincoln went 2-4 the rest of the way losing 29-7 in the 1st round. And the 2 wins were against teams a combined 5-16!!!

To be fair they did lose their QB that game 

Though looking at the rest of the schedule only the Rickards and maybe Florida High game results change with the QB

They still lose to Dillard and Columbia with him but games probably closer

To answer your question @954gator

Cardinal Newman is a very good team and I've had them on my radar since very early this season 

They are the clearcut number #3 and very close to #2 in 1M and may very well be the best team in PBC, they would have had a shot at the finals if they could have gotten TCA in the final 4 had Chaminade been region 4 not region 3

they may keep it close for a little bit but Chaminade will be too much but they will probably put up a similar fight to what TCA will put up in the finals

Turns out they really weren't vetted well this year due to the scheduled teams being so down

the first clue was when ESL lost 

Their schedule was a hell a lot better than IMG

Columbia

They lasted longer in the 3S playoffs than nationally ranked top 100 team Pine Forest and will be playing for a regional title next Friday

Well I'll admit when I'm wrong 

Credit for IMG for actually proving they still can hang as a national elite, will be interesting to see how this shakes up the polls 

Who would have thought mid season that Columbia would last longer in the Florida playoffs than Pine Forest back at mid-season

Maybe not national level but the point was more about teams discussed on here and the shortest coaching reigns of said teams (I'll mention Columbia shortest coaching reign after I see a few others)

What are some of the shortest coaching tenures in program history for some of the programs discussed on this board?

I'm curious to see what the shortest ones were for powerhouse programs 

M. bethay thinks that players were calling him at 8am to celebrate, nobody in the program gives a crap about a community coach or what he thinks about it 😂 

Will be interesting who they hire but at least one name is already crossed off the list if Lowndes is smart

Well let's see, we have a few coaches still on staff from the last time we went to Escambia in 2016, a few on staff who went to IMG Academy in 2018, a few that played in 97 when Columbia played at Bradenton Southeast in the regional finals 

Also I think they may be leaving Thursday and staying overnight because they are asking for community donations to cover hotel costs (even though the cheap bastards in our "community" are bitching about the fact the school is trying to raise money for it)
