Not counting 2913 means dismissing the Kyler Murray eta at Allen, MC and Bergen beating The Bishop etc

It's just another example of twisting facts to support the agenda of MC as #1 even though MC blatantly dodged CM.

I don't think Central dodged Chaminade but claiming Miami Central is the only public to beat IMG is false

We all know that's not today's IMG. We're talking about the modern era of HSFB. In that respect IMGs only five losses are to SJC, SFA x2, MD and MC.

I don't see how 2013 and 2014 are significant changes in eras as absolutely nothing significant happened between those 2 seasons in the state of Florida that made any real impact on the playing level

That's like saying that any losing season by Columbia prior to the playoff era in Florida (1963) era doesn't count

So they only have 5 losing seasons in a span of almost 60 years

Stop it with the KOC BS!

If you clicked on the link you would see IMG in 2013 lost to Naples and TCA

Naples is a Florida public school down in Collier County (it's basically down the road from that event where Bishop Gorman played Miami Central last year and where Treasure Coast beat AHP)

Naples currently is in the 3S classification and lost to Dunbar last week who is now playing Mainland in the state semifinals on the opposite side of the 3S bracket from Columbia vs Lake Wales

A split MNC between MC and Chaminade would be a complete travesty.  It also would never happen.

In today's game with the emphasis among the Big boys to win a MNC, the Fla powers should make an effort to play each other either in pre league or push to restructure the playoff format.

Is it any different than a split involving other teams in any other year

You typically won't know how the other national powers will do in preseason so you can't make changes around it

If the people with the power really cared they would get all state associations on the same page and get a formal national playoff set

A big problem for MC regarding the MNC is no that one can state for certain if they are even the best team in Fla.  Due to the wacky playoff divisions (sans on open division).

How can they claim MNC when they haven't beat the best in Fla?

That's never stopped a Florida team from Winning a national title before

@181pl STA refuses to schedule C-M annually.

AHP played scheduled both CG and C-M this season

    C-M played AHP

    CG played AHP 2x

In our poll STA is behind C-M and AHP because #nocowardsallowed

Gibbons played twice because one was a playoff game

Honestly surprised Chaminade vs STA hasn't happened more

    @954gator when's last time those 2 played?

And yet 999% of teams are still petrified to schedule them!

    I assume you meant 99.9%?

And I'm aware I just don't see why, if you have a good program and people of loyalty your not gonna lose kids to them, Columbia played them a few years ago and nobody left to play for IMG

All polls have to be based somewhere.   The fact remains that MC has no OOS wins and were beaten badly (not even competitive) vs. SJB last season.   Both teams improved since then and MC has presented no evidence that they closed the gap.

I consider IMG an OOS win

  10. Idk the transfer rules of California well enough to know if player movement is strict but I can tell you now that in Florida most of the metros it's no different for a public school in Dade, Broward or Duval county to get a kid than any private since those counties typically don't operate at capacity like you may see in Hillsborough

It’s the level of recruiting and you know there is difference in how privates like SJB, MD and others do it vs 99.9% of publics

I know C-M is really good.  Not 100% if they are top 10 if not really close

Miami Central has gotten 20+ transfers the last 5 years

That's a higher rate than ANY private in Florida

And I get it Miami Central is the top dog in Dade County and every stud wants to be there but I can tell you right now they are getting talent EASIER than any private in Florida is (since IMG Academy is a academy based boarding school they aren't the same as the other private schools like STA, AHP, Chaminade, etc which aren't boarding schools)

As a result under the current state law (thanks Rick Scott) a school like Miami Central or Northwestern has the same ability to get kids as any private school in Florida can

The super recruited privates should all be playing one another.  This wouldn’t be so hard.

I thought MD had some game changing calls both not called and called that cost them the game.

one TD pass SJB clearly blocking down field with ball in the air- not called

    the block punt TD

    Yeah because only privates recruit?

Also still think Chaminade didn't deserve to be ranked top 10 nationally?
