This kid is going to be a beast of a tight end. https://twitter.com/spencer1722/status/1518263647621066754?s=21&t=8tsJKyqTSJ-9wZxq24Xa6g -

Good win for Allen indeed. If Bosco loses the state of California will disown them😂😂😂 -

I would agree with you that Bosco seems to be ducking big time national opponents now. They lost their only really big games they ever scheduled against STA and Gorman. My point is that Allen is a good game and yes a win in Texas in that atmosphere will be a good win, even if they are favored by 14 points. -

I wouldn’t say it’s ‘garbage’. It is not easy for teams like Bosco and MD to find opponents, and contrary to popular belief, they don’t have the budget to travel the country every week. Playing at Allen is a very good game. Even if Allen is not what they once were, they are still a solid program and a true Texas blueblood. Hopefully there are 20,000 Texas crazies there rooting against Bosco which will be a GREAT high school football environment, and a good win for Bosco. MD does definitely have the tougher schedule playing at Gorman and at Centennial in consecutive weeks. MD could very well end up having to play each of those teams twice. Bosco still has Clarkson at QB. -
Although no relation, he has a similar build and elite CB skills like former MD/IMG CB Elias Ricks.

Agreed. But this is a bad look for Los Al. They potentially could be in the running next season for #4 in SoCal. They definitely are from a skill perspective, but they will get mauled in the trenches against the big boys. They no longer have the opportunity for a marquee win in the regular season to legitimize themselves.

MD did just beat Servite the day before. MD also won the OC championships. Max Thomas should be thankful that Domani Jackson is not around this season, although I don’t know if he would have been ready for track given his football injury. -

I didn’t realize that Rayshon ‘Speedy’ Luke transferred to Mater Dei for his Senior year track season 😂 Sammy, I know you want Servite to beat MD so badly in everything, but you are better than this. -

And Baker is ranked lower than fellow MD OL and classmate DeAndre Carter. The MD lines on both sides of the ball will be forces the next 2 years. https://247sports.com/player/deandre-carter-46115707/ -

Fair enough. That’s why we have this board. I agree with the superior line play of Bosco. It’s just having to play against Matt Logan makes me lose sleep. -

Wrong and wrong. Just because MD offense had an off night doesn’t mean we took them lightly. Cen10 defense had a lot to do with it also. And do you really think anybody would ever take Cen10 lightly? Why do you interpret that as a slight to Servite? I expect Cen10 will be our toughest game next year also. -

Doesn’t matter. Their defense was outstanding and their secondary ELITE. GSB is 100% in that they played MD better than anybody. And as I mentioned several times, MD did not take them lightly. We fear Cen10 as much, if not more, than anybody. -

Steve Hagerty finally entered Amat into the arms race. I think he wants to be able to compete with big boys like Amat always did. Their self-proclaimed recruiting coordinator TheMatt_V is on the road pimping the program shamelessly. Several elite middle schoolers have been pledging their high school commitment to Amat on social media. I respect all their decisions as it is God’s will. -

SFA was great no doubt. I just don’t think they had a passing game sophisticated enough to seriously threaten MD. -

MD in ‘tier 0’ by themselves. I agree with your teams in tier 1. But if a team has 3 wins against other teams in the tier, shouldn’t they be in a higher tier? Serious question. -

Sammy, you are discounting the entertainment value that Block consistently brings to the table. -

Kid’s family moved to Cali before his senior year. He was a solid contributor and very good player. -

I wouldn't say that they share having a blowout loss to MD last season. 45-3 and 21-16 are very different games. -

Sammy why do you have a hard time understanding that Cen10 was MDs toughest game last year? Only a Servite guy would say that Servite played MD tougher than Cen10. I could care less who the ‘threats’ were on the field. The Cen10 team was the bigger threat. -

I never said Cen10 should have been ranked #2 in Cali. Servite deserved their #2 ranking based on their body of work. What I said was that IMO Cen10 was the second best team last year. I disagree with your assessment of MD beating Cen10 by 3 TDs if they played again. MD was fortunate to win that night. If they played 10 times last season, MD wins 7-8 times. Nobody is going to convince that any team in Cali last season other than MD would have beaten Cen10. -
