In the end this week's  @misterfootball Top 50 Composite Rankings will tell the whole story much to your dissatisfaction.

SJP may be great---but their SOS schedule is outside the top 100 per Massey and not much better in Cal-Preps. 

It's a little silly to chastise BG for beating Cent. and Corner C. but laude IMG for beating a team whose top win is against Arch Bishop Spalding.

As to composite  rankings, I am guessing that they will not support ranking IMG at #1 and yours will be the only poll where IMG ranks higher than Gorman---What was you said before? Pick your poison they can't all be wrong.

According to CalPreps, which you just referenced, IMGs SOS is currently greater than BGs. Hence, the Ascenders entire resume and body of work is considered superior.

BGs MOV of victory was larger because they played lesser teams all of which were publics. IMG has the best win of the two teams in SJP. Plus IMG is on the verge of beating three (3) State Champs, which no other team involved can stake claim to. I know IMG will be honored receive our beautiful trophy and a check for $5,000 for use in its General Scholarship Fund. In the end everyone wins!

I know there is ongoing debate, but I happy this forum exists and would be the first to congratulate IMG on the thier undefeated season.

 

Hopefully the Broward pre-season games get worked out for next year to give us all a chance to see what's what.

 

I only wish CIF and NIAA were opened about play schedules.
