The fact that NS has DVs number makes them appealing. I think they'd show better than the Panthers have. WL would be a repeat of Allen IMO.

NS beats DV by a late TD on a neutral field, whereas MD's up by 42 at the end of three AT DV.   MV and Cen10 would be entertaining against TX's best, but MD and SJB need not waste their time going forward.

You should have at least played and beaten BG in the past 5 years to claim being a better program. . Only MC can make that claim.

Cen10 is best program that has not actually accomplished anything but is praised as if they have. 😂

in the past 5 years they’re 0-5 vs MD/SJB (4 of the losses were blowouts) and 0-2 vs IMG.

the last time Cen10 played SJB was ‘19 and they lost 52-14.

MC is the ONLY public school program that has consistently put it on the line nationally.  They’ve traveled to BG, NJ to play Bosco, SJB. Cen10 hasn’t traveled worth 💩

A TX homer pimpin FL ball.  Gotta love it.  The Cali hate is real.

    ??

SJB had no trouble whatsoever with MC last season.  Toyed with those boys.  The same SJB that MD smoked by 3 TDs.  This year's Gorman is practically unrecognizable from last year's with all the upgrades they brought in.  The point: no way on earth that MC comes as close to beating MD as BG did.  MD smokes MC by 3 TDs easy.  This year's BG >>> MC.  IMG is simply overrated.  Like 2019.  Happens sometimes.

Exactly. We lost our best player Domani Jackson last season so we are use to this. I promise you that his replacement will be a stud and a major D1 recruit. The only position where an injury would cause concern is QB. Cole Leinart will be a stud but only in due time.

Still sucks, though.  Would have brought valuable experience that the young guys don’t have.  More pressure on Su’a now.

BY was just doing what he always does. It was a one-sided game regardless. MD wins that game with anybody playing QB. The game was not close.

Facts. Another fact for the naysayers: Bryce didn’t play a single down on defense.  Not one.  We gave up one TD when it mattered.  The other two were garbage time.  And yes, JT and EB could have won that game, too.  IMG ‘18 was FAR better than SFA ‘19. It’s not even close. Scored more points on us, and gave up fewer to us than SFA did.

The quality of the media in our country is at an all-time low. The rush to judgement is killing the reputation of this once revered and trusted sector. Z is a stand-up guy for apologizing. Most would never do such. Glad we finally got closure on this topic.

Agreed.  Full closure would be knowing where JD is going, though, right?  Do we know that yet?

You made the argument for me.  A Servite vs Cen10 final last year would have been much more compelling than a repeat of the Servite vs MD game.

Servite being able to compete with Cen10 once every ten years does nothing for your argument! 🤣

The point is that Cen10 is not a shoe in to win a 16 team bracket minus MD and SJB.  Cherry picking last year (when they would have lost to Servite) doesn't prove that Cen10 would dominate a non MD and SJB bracket.  Sorry but putting MD and SJB into their own open bracket would be good for the sport.

Cherry picking what?  I was talking about how Cen10 finished ahead of MV in 9 of the last 10 end-of-season state rankings.

And Cen10 "would have lost" to Servite last season?  Not so fast.  Looking at common opponents, Servite beats SC by 20 and Cen10 beats SC by 21; advantage Cen10.  Servite beats JSerra by 53 and Cen10 beats them by 48; advantage Servite.  Servite beats MV by 37 and Cen10 beats them by 46; advantage Cen10.  MD beats Cen10 by 5 and MD beats Servite by 9 and 20; advantage Cen10  So my money's on Cen10 last season, too.  This coming season would be hide the women and children time....

A one off when Cen10 had their great team and MV was down.   Servite beat MV by a similar score.

Proves nothing which is why its irrelevant to the arguement

MV was "down"?  They're down 9 of the last 10 seasons to Cen10 in the final state rankings!  The lone "season" MV finished higher than Cen10 was Spring 2021, which, please....  Cen10 would roll those boys, year in and year out.

Centennial record after SJB and MD became academy schools:

    2018: SJB 62 - 34 C10

    2019: MD 48 - 14 C10

    2020: MD 42 - 14 C10

    2020: SJB 52 - 14

Last season was the only time C10 was competitive. Don’t try and tell me they would have “beat the living crap” out of DLS.

Fair point regarding DLS, but SoCal-wise, yes, they roll everyone else most years.

I know. It’s garbage. I liked your idea of removing those two from Cali playoffs or let them play each other for their dick measuring contest. How epic would Cali playoffs be without those two academies?

Epic?  Hardly.  Cen10 would beat the living crap out of everybody in that scenario.  And then y’all would want Cen10 gone, and then MV, ad infinitum…
