Hilarious! Gollum blocks people that have a different opinion. I really wished MD would have revoked his press pass and he has the nerve to still show up on campus. Also, he has not written one word about all the hazing allegations against MD being dismissed by a court of law. In fact neither has Scott Reid, Plaschke, or Fryer because it does not fit their narrative.

Sondy’s a sniveling little pest. Plaschke and Reid, on the other hand, are pure scum.

If SD Mater Dei Lands this kid then by all means Rank them Ahead of Serra!..,. Because they Obviously have better recruiting then Serra for Nor Cal to Lose a kid like this!!…. 🤣🤣

Indeed. Clearly, the #2 WR in the nation will only land with an elite QB, which leaves us with MD, Los Al, Warren (not moving all the way to SoCal to go to classes there, though, that’s for sure), and Carlsbad.  (Sorry, Pierce.)  Sounds like a two horse race.

    1. SJB - The Braves have the best lines and the best transfers.  Only question mark is the QB but he returns from last year

    2.  Stache - Question marks on the Dline.  May be in for a rough game in the desert

    3.  Cen10 - The offensive skill guys are back.  Expect the usual Cen10 track meets

    4.  Mission Viejo - return their key players and have dominated the summer 7 on 7 and Linemen events in So Cal

    5.  DLS - The Spartans are back after a rebuilding year hampered by Covid restrictions.

    6.  Santa Margarita - Loaded with transfers, if the SMEagles don't succeed this season, they may never get back their swagger.

    7.  Los Alamitos - This is the season the Griffens have been pointing to since 2019.  All World QB/WR duo will pose problems.

    8. Servite - Total rebuild but count on TT having the kids ready.  Capable of beating SM.

    9. Cathedral Catholic- Defending D-2 State champs

    10. OLU - Defending CIF D-2 Champions.  Lost a barnburner to Cathedral Catholic in the State play in game

    11. Alemeny - Casey Clauson has his hot shot QB

    12. Mater Dei (San Diego) - One of the San Diego powers now.

Just missed:  Serra San Mateo, St. Francis (Mountain View)

MD’s DL is gonna be just fine, and please, our OL over SJB’s and anyone else’s in the country.

What proof do you have that Folsom is good every season?

Los Al has multiple CIF championships.

Over the past 30 years Los Al has been extremely successful.  If you think they are a one and done, then you know nothing about that program

Yes, it was a while ago, but LosAl was one of the best publics in the country - one of the best schools, period - and for an extended period of time.  Barnes is a legend.

Still waiting on the link to the Football Illustrated website...

Until then, this poll will be debunked, and a conspiracy to catapult SFA's ranking. 😉

If SFA has a distinct talent advantage, they win, regardless of the other team's discipline. e.g. DLS

If talent and level of discipline are relatively equal, you get SFA v IMG.

If talent level is relatively equal, and SFA's on the wrong end of the discipline metric, you get STA and MD.

If SJB beats MD in the playoffs, it is a monumental achievement greater that anyone SFA and IMG would beat on their schedule on the road.

Damn right.  If MD goes undefeated, they will have beaten the pre-season #1 team TWICE, the #6 team and the #9 team (and probably the #9 team twice) - the latter two on the road.  SFA's schedule is weak compared to that.

We certainly don't know that. Bryce Young's ability to make plays with his feet, and throw into tight windows, vastly exceeded DJ's. That was crucial to MD getting the win, and SJB wouldn't have had near as much of that. That's why the "daisy chain" approach often fails.

"Think" was the operative word there, gents.  Of course it's speculation on my part.  The point is that MD proved that SFA was plenty mortal and SJB shouldn't have been afraid to take the marquee game on its home turf.  SFA averaged 44 pts per game, and Bryce, for all his wizardry, didn't play defense that night, did he?  SJB held the wizard to six - 6! - points in the second half of the 'ship.  So again, speculation, but I like SJB's chances if they take that game.  So glad MD got the glory, though.

This is exactly my Point with SJB…. Since they lost To STA Back in 2017, SJB has not scheduled an OOS opponent who can actually Beat them….

SJB has won Every OOS game by 3+ TD’s by scheduling lower level OOS teams….

Just look at 2018…. The CIF passes a Rule that CA teams Can’t play IMG starting in 2019…. What does MD do?… They Make sure to get IMG on their schedule, eventhough MD had a brand new starting QB and they already had a road game against BG scheduled…..

What does SJB do?…. Schedules Timpview and some second rate HI team, eventhough SJB has DJ retiring at QB and a bunch of weak teams that have no chance to beat them on their schedule…..

Jason Negro is a Used Car Salesman, he is afraid to play Top Teams…. Heck, if MD wasn’t in the same league, he would Never Voluntarily Schedule MD….🤣🤣

I kinda like the guy, but yeah, hard to argue the point.  Ceding the SFA game to MD on your brand new home turf was all I needed to know.  And I think we saw from that game that Bosco would've gotten the win, too; don't know what the hesitancy is.  I mean, the best program in the nation is already in your league, so what the hell does SJB have to lose challenging other elite teams?

DLS would also give them problems.

Agreed.  Because DLS gets mopped by four of the five best programs in the nation (MD, SJB, SFA and STA), they get written off much too easily.  News flash: those four teams go 4-0 against every other team in the Top 25, with the possible exception of IMG.

While we’re at it, maybe we could also share with the class the dominance of Cedar Hill 2015 that would make anyone believe they would be a valuable opponent for one; 2016 Bishop Gorman.

    You know Bishop Gorman, right?

The Bishop Gorman that waltzed into Texas, and took 2-1/2 quarters to pull away from the might longhorns.

The Bishop Gorman who walked into Florida and smashed Cocoa and beat St. Thomas Aquinas on their own field.

The Bishop Gorman that walked right into California and beat the big, bad Trinity League & #1 ranked California State champion, Thing 2.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but BG barely squeaked out a W vs STA in Vegas, not FL.  The same BG that MD dominated in '17 and thoroughly embarrassed in '18.  That BG? 😉
