    OOS means what? There is no glory. The state title is earned by playing, not imagining.

    And meanwhile in Florida, #48 manhandles #11 with relative ease, dethroning one of the states hsfb kings. This drops to 5 the number of relevant teams to reside in Florida.

    I was not meaning to be complimentary. I was pointing out the omission of better teams that beat the best teams when they meet. Better teams without name recognition. The lesser of the two being victorious.

    Cool .....but name pimping still wins the day. I will admit to certain teams being very good but the unknown remains that way. I am a firm believer in any given Friday.

    It shows what I talk about quite often........name means nothing when you get the matchup that is just much to overcome. So maybe Florida has more good teams. Athletes at " not relevant " schools. Who would have thunk it?

    Number 1 in state means so much more. Win a few and "prowess" is clearly defined.

    I did tell you that 7A is a school size designation, not the grading for football acumen.

    Again ........who cares? Game 15 in the Benz is what matters. You need to understand the truth. Georgia high school football and it's prowess, are not measured by others. It is measured against itself, given it is the standard.

    Did you notice that 11 of the top 16 are below 7A? This is Georgia.

    So next year, 6A will be your preferred polling place in Georgia and still the fact will remain that in Georgia, the best is not known until the games are played.

    For your info, 7A has only been around a few years. 7A is a school size, not football supremacy. My 6A school, soon to be 5A, has played and beat many 7A teams. Some of the top teams in the state have a lesser football reputation than those you espouse as being elite, even if you are referring to in state only. Your thoughts of Georgia being nothing more than 7A football are misguided.

    Who cares about your top 25. These kids are playing for a win in game 15. Anything else is gravy. The main course has been served with a state crown.
