Sierra Canyon will be the #3 seed in the playoffs which is good for MD who will be the #2 seed. IMO, Cen10 would wipe the floor with SC. Let Bosco deal with #4 seed Cen10 in the semifinals. The past few years MD has had to play at Cen10 in the semis.

When I went to MD, Santa Margarita and JSerra did not exist and there were lots of kids from south Orange Country that went to MD. It took them well over an hour to get to school every day. There were also kids from LA, Riverside, San Bernardino counties that had a hellish commute every day. And these were mostly just regular students who wanted to get their diploma from MD. It took me 30 min to get to MD every day. My point is that, especially in Cali, it is very common for kids (and not just athletes) to have long commutes to high school.

Wish he was on the sideline! People think a team is defined by players. That was not the case at MD the past 35 years. His presence was not about the Xs and Os. He could get his players to run through a wall for him. It just feels like a huge void now.

I honestly don’t know. I can’t recall any OOS loss since I started following the team in the late 70s. Granted, they played very few. Rollo took the team to Hawaii in the early 90s when Billy Blanton was the QB. The Matt Barkley team in 2007 played a Utah team. We haven’t really played OOS teams as a regular thing until these past 5-6 years because local teams refuse to play us now.

Exactly! Offense can have bad games. Defenses are constant. The MD defense is as good this year as I have EVER seen. These are words that MD lives by and it’s written on the walls.

While IMG usually has the best roster, they don't this year. Yes, St. Joes was a good win. I disagree with St Joes at #6 and I still don't think IMG has been overly impressive.

What has IMG done to be ranked higher than Gorman or C-M? Kahuku is getting too much credit for beating Bosco. I have a hard time ranking a team that was boat raced the prior week and has only beaten up on awful local teams.
