    Possibly. But that would leave the other team with 3 slots to fill in. DeSoto and Duncanville will both have two open dates next year. Allen, Denton Ryan, and Atascocita will have one open date. Joe, do your thing.

    I think this year and next would’ve been perfect for South Oak Cliff to schedule OOS. Would’ve loved to see them vs a Florida team.

    NJ vs TX Showcase? Bring in Bergen Catholic, St. Joseph Regional and Don Bosco. I doubt you’d be able to convince St. Peter’s Prep to join

    Duncanville vs Miami Central and East St. Louis for 2023! They’ll have two open dates next year.

    Converse Judson beat Cibolo Steele by the same margin as Life Christian Academy. Judson went on to lose to some random Roosevelt team from San Antonio in the 1st round of playoffs that year 😂

    LOL While that was a very interesting matchup, that LCA loss meant nothing. Cibolo Steele was nothing special that year, they had 4 losses that year.     Very true. Can't remember the last time they were outside the top ten for preseason rankings. 2021 - No. 10 2020 - No. 6 2019 - No. 4 2018 - No. 1 Not sure I would have them in the top 10 this year just yet. Maybe in 11th. I would put Atascocita ahead of Westfield for now.

    Yep. And nobody is going to counter argue that. With the current landscape for those two behemoths and the way it’s been monopolized, it’ll stay like that for a while unless the CIF decides to do something about it. Like I said, I’m all of the UIL to open the flood gates 🤷‍♂️

    Servite stays riding on the coat-tails of SJB and MD. Daisy chaining isn’t always accurate. That’s why the games are played. Who knows, maybe Miami Central would’ve beat Servite last year. But guess what, we’ll never know. I do think Servite was better than Duncanville last year. They were scrambling for a QB, amongst other excuses, wasn’t their best year. But that’s the only year I would give Servite the nod to. Any other year, heck no.

    Servite isn't very much relevant on the national scene. Other than playing Bishop Gorman and American Fork, that's all there is to Servite's OOS resume. They had one good year last year and didn't make the most of it by scheduling nationally.

    I mean, Westlake's QB Sam Ehlinger was out due to an injury that game. Had he played, the result would've been way different.

    How do you think Denton Ryan would’ve fared versus Denton Guyer this year? Would’ve loved to see that matchup this year especially.

    The Texas hate is alive and well! Not saying that there’s ever a poll that gets it 100% right, especially for Pre-Season but this is just straight up baffling. Interested to know what percentage of that Top 25 are clients or affiliated with PGL.

    I agree The Woodlands is going to be dangerous this year. I haven’t really put much thought into who I would place in a top 10 but they’re definitely up there. They’re not nationally relevant but lots of outsiders will get very familiar with them in the following years, I think.

    Cornerstone Christian from San Antonio will be traveling to Tennessee to face Brentwood Academy this year. All-Saints from Fort Worth has a game against Episcopal Academy out of Pennsylvania as well. The Kinkaid School (Houston) has a game at Archbishop Shaw from New Orleans, LA.

    Let me guess, Duncanville won't be in your Top 25 simply because they're not playing a national elite this year? So there isn't a need to pimp them.

    Yikes. Maybe over a year ago? The only time I ever drive down 35 is when I’m going to Austin. I reside in Flower Mound, for entertainment I usually just drive to Dallas + suburbs rather than to Fort Worth. When I do find myself in Cowtown it’s typically for the Stockyards or the Cultural District.

    Maybe DeSoto and Duncanville can trade opponents next year since the games are a one year contract, and they’ll need games next year for that same week. DeSoto should be primed for 2023.
