  1. SFA is assembling a very ambitious schedule. They must be out to prove something in 2022.
  2. Of course! I want to work on one for Florida because they're very similar to Texas in that they have a copious amount of talented teams in all their metro areas...and mostly because I sometimes forget where a team is from. Cibolo Steele NEEDS a rematch with LCA to redeem themselves, they just haven't been as hot as they once were. Austin has been dismantling San Antonio teams this past half decade. Would love to see Converse Judson go up against a Georgia team like Buford or Milton. And I had to give some recognition to the rest (pits) of the state!
  3. Since this is a national forum, and the world doesn't revolve around Texas, I thought I would create this graphic to make it easier for those unfamiliar with the Texas teams and which metro area they're from. For Houston and DFW, I only included the 12 most formidable teams that I thought people would be familiar with or teams that have had recent success in their respective region, I might've left some teams out. Texas is a large state with many teams so it's easy to get confused with them and forget some. DFW has a lot more brand names that are known nationally, but Houston has a lot of up-and-comers and would even argue that they have a deeper field of talented teams, Dallas is more top-heavy.
  4. It's tentative at the moment. Hopefully it comes to fruition, along with the Duncanville vs Florida team game.
  5. Hopefully Euless Trinity’s new coach can get them back to the caliber that ET once was. He’s coming from the Southlake Carroll staff, and is the son of Trinity’s legendary Lineweaver.
  6. Absolutely. Rich football traditions from both programs with large fanbases. I'm glad that there's been a lot more intrastate games the past few years, though.
  7. Absolutely! But I think it should be one for all-privates, and one for all-publics. So the best publics from TX, FL, AZ, GA, amongst others for example would battle it out at the end of the year. Maybe like a 16 team bracket.
  8. Hope it's either St. Thomas Aquinas or Tampa Jesuit.
  9. I’ll try to compile a list, but I think input from other TX posters would help out to have a TX Top 25 consensus.
  10. I don't agree with the Calpreps rankings, but for the sake of this argument, No. 15 Stephenville would not last more than two quarters against... No. 17 Westfield No. 19. Denton Ryan No. 22 Lake Travis No. 24 Katy Tompkins And then you have Lorena at 25?? Would lose against... No. 39 Rockwall-Heath No. 40 Highland Park No. 41 Euless Trinity No. 44 Ridge Point No. 45 Dickinson Let's be real. I feel like for an argument of top 25 vs top 25, you have to be familiar with the depth and teams of both states. No bias included.
  11. Come on man. Stephenville? Lorena? Also, you’re using Calpreps. I think that’s where you went wrong.
  12. If we’re talking about Top 2 from California vs Top 2 from Texas then CA wins. But TX trumps CA if we were do to do Top 25 vs Top 25 in my opinion.
  13. They’re for sure a very good team, but I’m not sure who would even be a good match for Argyle. They’re a way smaller school than the Texas 6A powers. I think teams like Serra (CA), Brookwood (GA), Venice (FL) would be good tests for Argyle. Nothing too crazy.
  14. Hopefully we can add a few more teams to the list next year. I want to see North Shore, Katy, and Southlake Carroll all face OOS competition. East St. Louis vs Duncanville would be a cool game for the future as well.
