 they went this far last year? They’ve played no one that would have beaten them. Not one single team in their region that was in the top 25. Lol

DV is better for playing Jones, who's also still alive in the FL playoffs!

The reason this is faulty is because there are countless instances where teams lose to elite teams and still stink. It can’t be one way and not the other. 
 

2-8 Cedar Hill lost to 12-0 Southlake Carroll, and 11-0 Duncanville and still got blown out the last game of the season to a 4-6 team.

In 2018 Lakeland played 2 teams in the top 1,200 nationally all year in the regular season. Neither team was even top 300. 
 

Then with that rusted iron, they clobbered 2 top 150 teams and then beat the pine tar out of nationally number 27 STA.

It’s cool to play great teams. No issues there. But to say a team won state or made a deep run because they played a top team in September is asinine

Lincoln FL was 3-1 going into the game against the number 1 team in Georgia Colquitt County. Colquitt beat them 30-7.

After the Colquitt game, Lincoln went 2-4 the rest of the way losing 29-7 in the 1st round. And the 2 wins were against teams a combined 5-16!!!

To be fair they did lose their QB that game 

 

Though looking at the rest of the schedule only the Rickards and maybe Florida High game results change with the QB

 

They still lose to Dillard and Columbia with him but games probably closer

Ok explain this one. Dillard plays the national number 5, 17, and 34 team in the country. Miami Central, Chaminade and St Thomas Aquinas 

Ely doesn’t play ONE SINGLE TEAM IN THE NATIONAL TOP 1,300 ALL YEAR!!!!!

 

Ely throws Dillard around and out of the playoffs this past Friday. How’s that possible?
