Bodysurf Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 What about Cali? The CIF has never allowed this, and unfortunately I don't see this changing. Quote

Scott Coffee Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 When was the Geico Bowl canceled? Just a few weeks ago I had heard it was scheduled for December at Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas. Quote

GardenStateBaller Posted November 7, 2023 Author Posted November 7, 2023 The goal is IMG at BG/GA 7A Champ on 12/16. 3 Quote
GardenStateBaller Posted November 27, 2023 Author Posted November 27, 2023 Update: Per the NIAA President, Donnie Nelson: "Joe, this type of postseason contest would have to be approved by our Board … but it’s way too late for that. The next meeting is not until January 17-18. There is no chance of this happening this year." So BG gets to avoid IMG yet again. On a positive note we're already in the process of making this National Championship Game a reality in 2024! 1 Quote
Scott Coffee Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Not a surprise---the original NIAA proposal was to limit BG to a single out of state game this year. 1 Quote
