Birmingham from Lake Balboa,CA who made the state semi finals last year will be coming to play Steele TX. 
 

Also Trinity Valley from Fort Worth is going out to play University City from San Diego

Since opening PGL in 2015 my #1 proudest moment was in 2020 when we sent LCA down to TX and they defeated Steele.

No one gave LCA a chance. Steele only booked the game because they thought it was a guaranteed win. Little did they know…

It’s a great day any time a tiny private with less than 300 students beats a blue-blood public with an enrollment of 2600+!

Congrats to Birmingham for making the California State Championship game. After losing 49-7 to Steele TX, they have been on a mission to take home the trophy. And they will get their chance next weekend.

What does this have to do with Serra? I’m saying I don’t think Birmingham, or any city team, would win. I congratulated them for taking the game.
