Staff Admin Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Georgia has a reputation of paying well for high school football coaches compared to Florida. Why is that? What are the salary ranges for head coaches and coordinators in your state? Quote
Testadura Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 I don’t think they’re high in NY or NJ or probably in the NE. That’s why we promote games so much. Quote

They're also the athletic directors at their schools In Georgia, there's a trend picking up steam. Head coaches are being hired with the extra administrative title of "Director of Football Operations." That basically makes them an AD in charge of all football related matters from high school all the way down to middle school teams. It's basically their job to overlook their feeder programs. It's an interesting concept because some of them do not answer to the Athletic Directors any longer. At Lowndes, the Director of Football Operations/Head Coach answers directly to the School Superintendent. Quote
