Doing more with less. MC operates in regards to acquiring talent similar to top private programs. It was a while ago but basically yeah they did. The justification for it was public schools were tired of getting the book thrown at them for trying to keep up with private schools who can attract kids from a 100 mile circumference and the public schools were forced to play against them with zoned neighborhood kids. Yeah the only catch is you can't accept out of area kids if your at capacity without a full move However I don't think any Dade or Broward publics (at least among the state contenders) currently operate at capacity so they can get open transfers like any private could Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
