The program grew rapidly and at one point half the student body was part of the football team. Again the team has its own successes to celebrate, but they aren't a big part of the tradition or history of the school. The football team brought positive notoriety and exposure to the entire school, which is here to stay. The best is yet to come!

The crowd was great for Maryland. I loved the sellout crowds in TX for the IMG, MD, SJB and SFA blowout wins!

Yikes, not to be unexpected but for a city that is behind this team, they're not really there. Someone needs to tell Zooloo that the entire starting SFA OL was out. MD was bullrushing freshmen and soph backups.

This is what ratcheting up the support means apparently. Fans were asking me where Mater Dei was from. Baltimore is no hsfb mecca. But they'll always support Mother Mary Lange's school. #1828

Johns Hopkins was very pleased with their share of the gate receipts.

Who is "they" because "they" weren't at the football game. All of us were watching from the Cordish Center. Google it to learn more. The individuals that were present account for $5M in donations to SFA annually.

Supporting students who aren’t national title contenders is also important don’t you think? Have you ever been to downtown Baltimore? They got 6 last week against Hun. Of course, Hn scored more (52) but don't think many expect SFA to score much. Competing vs T10 teams is a little different than playing New England prep schools.
