2013 Norcross was #48

I was just going back, Georgia top ranked teams played a lot of Florida garbage. It’s astounding. There would be an uproar if STA, AHP etc etc played GA teams ranked in the national 10,000’s

Grayson over MC and Grayson over Hoover were upsets.

Wrong again! Do your research! Greyson over MC was NOT an upset. Greyson was coming off a state championship with the #1 player in the nation Robert Nkemdiche and a preseason #1 ranking in the ESPN poll, now merged with USA Today. They were top 5 in every major poll. MC on the other hand was a junior/sophomore heavy team. Many kids graduated from a forfeit plagued season the season prior. Although MC had Dalvin Cook and Joe Yearby both juniors, the offense had no identity. The QB was a transfer that played LB at Columbus prior to MC. In 1 1/2 games as a starter he didn't engineer one TD drive. MC was only ranked in ONE preseason poll (#1 by USA Today) which was completely premature and WRONG!

Try again!!

That's ONLY because MC finished the year with a state championship, and Greyson was upset in the 3 game of the season by a lowly GA team. They then lost in the second round of the GA playoffs, so that final ranking has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with when they played the 1st game of the season...Your knowledge of high school football isn't that good. Stick to your PRIVATES. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Only an imbecile would use their rankings at the time the games were played. Hope to meet you in TX in 2023!

Plus Grayson had Wayne Gallman at RB.and a DB whose name escapes me who was a three-year starter for Clemson. They were loaded.

Exactly. Let him know...

That is why I posted the add-in clause listing the scholarship recipients from Grayson and the schools where said recipients matriculated. That wasn't an upset. Aside from Davin Cook, Grayson was better at nearly every position. Gallman was better than Yearby IMO. Three-year starter with two National Championship rings.

This guy was basing it off of final rankings in a certain poll. He clearly didn't do his research.

My researcdh was spot on. It's not where you start in the rankings, but where you finish!

Don't try to cover it up with that! It was not an upset!

WereEast St Louis or Crenshaw, ranked when NGwinnett defeated them? Crenshaw was the runner-up in California the previous year. And ESL has been talented, though not always loaded for bear.NG’s win over Prattville, and Camden's win over MC was impressive.
