  1. Glad we don't have to listen to their fans' whining about that any more.
  2. Definitely. A sizable step up for sure. Should be competitive with most teams, but Amat's a level of discipline and nasty that SC hasn't seen in league play before.
  3. "...count all the kids with scholarships...Cen10 has maybe 5-6 kids." WTH? They have 7 in the class of '23 alone! 🤣
  4. Could end up impacting a bunch of schools here, most likely. Charlotte's only recently gotten into the transfer game and it's starting to show.
  5. Oh, my bad, what was I thinking? It's 7-4, not 8-4. BFD. The point was that Cen10 has more 3-5 stars in '23 than it lost in '22. Cen10's gonna be just fine. Relax, cupcake. MD '23 Sua - 4* Shannon - 3* Tolo - 3* Funa - 3* Cen10 '23 Williams - 4* Chambliss - 3* Riley - 3* Conti - 3* Carter - 3* Conklin - 3* Anderson - 3*
  6. I was thinking Tier 2 for Westlake, but now that you mention it, Cen10, IMG and MC would consistently beat Westlake by 2+ TDs. Maybe mid- to low-Tier 2?
  7. VERY respectable schedule. The most aggressive that Creek has ever assembled, even during the national Top 25 Palmieri years. And the first SEVEN games are all AWAY?! That is insane. Yes, they will be better than last season, but FOUR state champions, not to mention the state runner up and state semifinalist from its own league?! That's more than a little too aggressive imho.
  8. And almost beat NS they did. On a neutral field. While getting shellacked by 42 on their home field. TX is Tier 2 and below until they prove otherwise.
  9. Surprised no one else has mentioned it, so I will: Tier 1 looks right, except for Westlake. Talk about no marquee wins. Until a TX team can beat a Tier 1 program, they are all suspect. Do we really need SJB and SFA to embarrass another two TX "powers" before everyone realizes this?
  10. Exactly. Wouldn't surprise me if SJB beats us this year.
  11. Cen10 has 2x more 3-5 stars in the class of '23 than MD has.
  12. Would DLS have been Tier 1 most of the 90s before they starting reeling off marquee wins? Absolutely. Marquee wins are not everything.
  13. Explain the championship game, then. Definitely NOT MD's toughest game. 🤣
  14. They would get rolled. If the best IMG team ever couldn't take MD, these clowns sure can't. Need to beat SFA for once before calling out the King.
  15. Excellent interview, and thanks for the shout out! Had to watch it, so got one less hour of sleep, more or less, but worth it.
  16. You are correct, sir. My bad. He shouldn't have brought up NS then, as I was replying to him; so not my problem.
  17. All you've got is ad hominem (look it up). Argue the facts. Game, set and match.
  18. Jason's played BG (finished higher than Katy that same season), MC (finished higher than Katy that same season), DBP, SJC, STA, GC, and Dematha (finished higher than Katy that same season). Which OOS powers has Katy played? That's right, nobody. So yeah, you're right, not sure if Katy's the right tier for Jason. 😉
  19. I know you are, but what am I? How old are you? 12? Grow up. MD coaching? MD routinely beats Bosco now, despite the latter having more 3-5 star recruits every year. Embarrassed SFA and took out IMG. No other team in the nation has beaten the latter two, except MD. No one. There's talent all over SoCal. In the 2023 class, there are NINE SoCal teams that have as many or more 3-5 stars than MD. Combine '22 and '23 and MD still has only four more 3-5 stars than Inglewood. Class dismissed.
