    Which means practically no MD games, presumably. 😞 Although NFHS does carry tonight's MD/Cen10 game, so hope springs eternal!

    It would be an interesting scenario. The talent in GA, per capita, is second to none. A power private there would be scary.

    Thanks for making this game happen. I do think Buford's in over its head, especially for Game 1, against a perennial Tier 1 for whom travel is practically no handicap whatsoever. Coaching at the top tier privates is different, too. I think Raiola gets a rude welcome.

    To be fair, I need to read the article and maybe it's mentioned, but I have to think it's not just that a lot of CA teams don't want to play MD/SJB; but that, additionally, MD/SJB would also prefer to travel for quality competition than to continue to play La Mirada again and again, as an example. In other words, I'm sure there are teams in CA who'll man up and play MD/SJB, but they would be complete throw away games for the bigs.

    I think Knotts thought it would be helpful to give the kids a bit of a drubbing after underperforming at the end of the previous season. Depends on how you define "play with," but I highly doubt Tommy thought DF had any realistic chance against a team that you had as last season's preseason #1, if memory serves.

    C-M kinda high, too, imo, based on how they ended last season. Not sure about St Edward at 15, either. OH needs to play more out of their region.

    ...and only 1 LB on the LB top 10 list (Wyatt). Tanner Williams as good as anyone on that list not named Nasir. Register sleepin on that dude. Which is just fine with me. TW a monster already, without a chip on his shoulder.

    True, and those are much tougher than most of SJB's, but they will have also traveled to STA. I'm just not sold on their O with Sanchez.

    @GardenStateBaller Considering SJB almost certainly loses both to MD, could this be SJB's first 4-loss season since Negro took over?

    I think you're right. Wouldn't surprise me at all for SJB to lose both, actually. Still miffed that STA hasn't returned the favor and played at SJB, though.

    Solid. Not sure if SJB beats SFA with its glaring weakness at QB, but fortunately we don't have to speculate this season. Odd that Jason's actually stepping up THIS season instead of last. SJB definitely doesn't beat MD, though. Gawd, I hope MD rubs it in, too. Both times.
