You're entitled to your opinion. I prefer them vs Belleville MI.
This is what happens when you allow your views to be biased towards private schools and you chase the first shiny object with a private school name attached to it.

Obviously, but they do house student-athletes from all over America.
They’re not anywhere near top 25 material, thats the point.

Do you watch HSFB on ESPN? Both teams were just showcased on it. McCallie is the "IMG of TN." Saraland is the top team in AL.
Lol McCallie is definitely not an IMG talent wise. Watching this team is why I don’t take national rankings too seriously.
I encourage others to take a look at McCallie, their full game v St X is out there.

Doubt that Melissa will play a private. They're well aware of those recent scores.

Cocoa has already been playing against some of the best from Florida. see STA
Melissa just moved up from 4A and has never played against elite IMO.
Imo they won’t get a game v texas elite, not without a title first.

This would be the speed of Jones or Rockledge.
Please don’t find some random obscure team to get their head beat in, and if you are hell bent on it, please don’t bring some garbage FL team just to get a contract signed.
Jones, “yes” rockledge “no”

Maybe - Can they beat Soc in 5A D2
I don’t know, but I think it would be a good game.

Because the coach has asked for a '24 game, right? If that is filled with an OOS opponent, then they'll need one the following season and are unlikely to find a quality in-state team to play the following season ('25).
Gotcha

It will not be apples to apples match up with GSB involved.
The melissa coach has the right to say “no” if he thinks he’s way over his head. These coaches need to do some homework instead of just signing on the dotted line

MaxPreps has Melissa way overrated in the state of Texas IMO.
I agree. They’re probably in the 20-30 range

What do they have planned for ‘25?
Why ‘25 and not ‘24?

Melissa needs to worry about winning Texas games vs playing any big national power.
Well, GSB is already talking to them. That’s on their coach to not negotiate if he thinks he’s not ready. Is Creekside GA a national power?

Hi! I'm working on finding 5A Melissa TX an OOS opponent for 2024. Who would you like to see them host?
Cocoa, Creekside, Edna karr .

Only a few teams at all did what you are asking. Less than 5 in the last 10 years. Bergen Catholic did it and STA did. Not sure who else
Of course. You (GSB) can’t measure a teams schedule by OOS scheduling alone. The amount of top 10 OOS teams squaring up is slim.
C-M has a great schedule this year…highlighted by instate powers central and AHP, not BC and SFA.

Why are you so bogus?
He’s trolling. He’s spitballing bs

Number 9 is!
That’s 1 in the past 5 years for a state that travels more than anyone. 👏🏿👏🏿

2014: BC beat #5 ED
2015: SJR beat #5 ED
If NJ can achieve such, we can't "powerful" TX?
So you beat a top 5 in different years? That’s not even what I asked. Smh

To be highly-ranked DV, DS and NS can longer get away with just playing each other annually. We as pollsters finally cracked that code!
Several Tx teams are already in the top 10! You’re ranking is 🗑️. I don’t use it as a reference to national rankings other than to criticize it.

TX def won't!!! NJ has done it twice!!
NJ is washed up! I said past 5 years.

Just now, Nolebull813 said:
Yeah i agree with that. Rarely will you beat an OOS team that FINISHES TOP 10
Exactly. A team is really doing something beating multiple OOS teams inside the top 50 like c-m can accomplish

Columbus,FL drove to Georgia and beat the tar out of Georgia State champion Benedictine.
Benedictine finished top 100 nationally and ahead of Columbus in the rankings
Good win but not top 10 nationally. It’s not that common

2 years ago Chaminade beat Buford at Buford.
Buford went 14-1 and won the state title and finished ahead of Chaminade in the national rankings
Good win but Buford didn’t finish in the top 10. There’s a reason I’m asking this, it’s to show beating OOS teams in the top 10 is not common, even for a state that plays a lot of OOS games

No state in America has played more quality opponents than FL. Not everyone in FL can afford cross-country travel. When's the last time a TX team won a OOS game ON THE ROAD vs a Top 10 team?
You said top teams (Fla) like the play the best but yet they’ve avoided the best in the last 5 years or so. Not AHP, STA, central nor C-M has scheduled MD. that’s not a coincidence that’s intentional.
here’s a question. List the top 10 OOS teams Fla has beaten on the road the past 5 years.
