    That's what the leadership in Florida legislative and governors office wants actually so it's not too far from being the truth lol Just look at what changes happened to the FHSAA board a few months back and it will all tie together

    Yeah but when Miami Central lost SJB and Bishop Gorman back to back people were quick to question them despite having a lot of OOS success prior to that

    Yeah I have to agree Ton of respect for SFA not backing down but they can't get blasted and get a free pass because the teams are good, scheduling and losing every big game proves nothing

    Preseason rankings are just starting points, most will change significantly week to week and as the season progresses. Some teams high up pan out and win a bunch and others fizzle

    For now but does that mean if they lose all 7 top 10 games your gonna keep them ranked?

    USA today was ranking national champs back in the 80s, ESPN may have commercialized it but they weren't the first to capitalize on high school sports on a national scale

    SFA is playing a brutal schedule but you have to beat some of those teams if your gonna play Can't go schedule 7 top 10 teams and lose all of them and say you should be ranked up there with those teams

    Perhaps but without preseason rankings there would be very little motivation to play these big games at the beginning of the season as nobody would benefit from it if they are trying to get a strong schedule

    Seen plenty of high profile players that lack the work ethic and drag teams down Gotta work to keep your spot holmes or you gonna get out worked and sit the bench

    Maybe that preseason ass kicking woke them up, if anything it showed that having a bunch of stars don't mean shit in a one game situation if 5* talent has 0* effort App State over Michigan anyone? Hell didn't app state beat the far superior talented A&M last year? Talent don't mean shit if you don't have any work ethic
