  1. Now I most def agree with you on that. A blowout in either end will shock the hell out of me. dillard and chaminade played last year & it was a 16-0 lions victory so Dillard know what they need to do this time. Will it be enough to shock the sports world we will see.
  2. Not many if close to any teams in south Florida can beat chaminade or MIAMI central this year, hell at John’s is nationally ranked and had the door blowed off them in the first half by chaminade, do that make them pretenders all of a sudden. ? in the end both Dillard and chaminade are great programs it just sucks that one team has to lose tonight. But hey DILLARD has a great opportunity ahead of them tonight & we will see what happens.
  3. I believe Dillard has already shown they’re contenders, if the question is “IS DILLARD ELITE STATEWIDE” the answer would be YES WITHOUT A DOUBT. but if the question is , “iS DILLARD NATIONALLY ELITE” that answer would be “NO” until they beat a nationally ranked opponent which they have the opportunity to do tonight. Over the last 4 years DILLARD is (38-6) Including post season. So the resume is there to prove they’re state elite. But in order to be respected nationally DILLARD has to beat either chaminade tonight, MIAMI central in 3 weeks or STA at home in week 7.
  4. Bro stop repeating Hearsay as if it’s true Dillard NEVER refused to play anyone. If St. John’s was our opponent that’s who we would’ve played.
  5. That wouldn’t even make sense, why would a team who has “3” teams in the TOP 20 national rankings on their schedule say they wouldn’t play a team because their to good for them. Dillard has never said no ish like that. That’s never been our pedigree even in our bad years.
  6. That’s not true at all. The organizers of the event switched Dillard opponent but they felt at that time that Dillard & Rock creek were a much more even matchup. if we would have played St. John’s I believe it would have been a good ass game. But we will never know would we.
  7. I do realize that which is why I made my statement because despite contrary belief Dillards opponent was a OOS opponent as well. & the weakest ? Is it because how bad we beat them ? If you ask me LCA looked worse they just so happen to play a stranahan team who was terrible.
  8. To big of an opponent? I heavily disagree. We have chaminade STA & MIAMI central on our schedule. We have zero issues with playing anyone. and you believe the LCA would have been a better matchup ? They struggled to beat a stranahan team who was BY FAR the worst team in the showcase 🤣🤣🤣😂🤣 & that’s not even on no homer type jazz. LFC had no speed & no size Dillards D-Line Would’ve ate they ass up to. LFC probably won’t win 3 games this year. & didn’t they just get blasted before they came to Florida?
  9. I knew it was someone I was missing. I couldn’t put my finger on it. I fixed it lol.
  10. Now that the first week is in the books, all I can say is “WEEK 1 Did Not disappoint!” Now entering Week 2 if I had to post my south Florida top 10 it would be. #1 MIAMI Central (1-0) #2 Chaminade Madonna (1-0) #3 American Heritage (2-0) #4 MIAMI Northwestern (1-0) #5 St Thomas Aquinas (1-0) #6 Dillard (1-0) #7 Columbus (1-0) #8 Homestead (1-0) #9 Western (1-0) #10 Cardinal gibbons. (1-0) i put gibbons at 10 because right now they don’t look all that impressive. After a big graduation class & a few transfers that transfer out they look a shell of their past championship teams. 3 weeks ago they lost a referee scrimmage to a below Avg Blanche ely team (8-7) the very next week they didn’t put anybody points against chaminade Madonna & last week they won (11-6) vs a dematha team that’s nowhere near what they use to be. But it’s a long season and a lot can change. But for right now, this is where I’m at top 10 wise. Dark Horses: BTW (1-0) MIAMI Norland (0-0)Avant grande (1-0) Miramar(1-0),palmetto(0-1), Plantation (0-1)
  11. Dam Dillard game don’t get no love lol it’s almost like we wasn’t even in the showcase lol 😂
  12. #GAMEOFTHEWEEK: if You Love Football This is The Game To Be At!!, tickets go on sell tomorrow & Will Most Likely Be Sold Out The Same Day!. 5* 4* & Power 5 Talent will be ALL OVER the field in this matchup. Chaminade Madonna: The lions will come into this game with a great win over a very strong nationally ranked St. John’s team. The game wasn’t nearly as close as the final score. The lions are huge in the trenches with speed all over the field with their skill players. Dillard - The Panthers are coming in fresh off a (35-0) blowout over Maryland #5 ranked best team rock creek Christian academy. with *5 star jackson at corner, 4* Johnson at the rb spot, 4* Blount on defense & host of other 3 & 4* players on defense for both Dillard and chaminade this has the making of being a must see game. SHOW US: with Dillard being a very very good public school ; As of Right Now they lack national notoriety. While Dillard has shown they can go toe to toe with some of the nations best, they have YET to get that signature win that would put them on a national scale. They have the opportunity to change that this week though. & With games @ MIAMI central week 4 & Home Vs STA AQUINAS Week 7 the panthers have arguably one of the toughest non district schedules in the country. KEYS TO VICTORY for chaminade: If the lions can penetrate dillard revamped O-Line & limit & production from Johnson. The lions will have a huge chance to win this game going away, while dillard does have a very elite diff the panthers will still need balance offensive production to win this on the road. KEYS TO VICTORY FOR DILLARD: the panthers have to limit the penalties & capitalize off a forced turnover or 2 without turning the ball over themselves. Special teams have to be solid & it wouldn’t hurt to also start fast to build & keep momentum. Do those things & you’re looking at the panthers making their debut in the national ranks come Monday morning. ACCORDING TO MAXPREPS: chaminade Madonna: NATIONALLY: #13 STATE: #1 CLASS #1 DILLARD: NATIONALLY - Not Ranked STATE: #29 CLASS 3M #7 so if we base everything off numbers chaminade should & will be the Faves in this matchup, but that’s why you play the games & With That Said May the Best Team Win #GODILLARD!!! #Dem27thAveBoys
  13. Oh wow. But hey can’t do nothing but respect the computer opinion lol.
  14. I agree. Look forward to seeing the scale once it’s complete.
  15. Noted. But I don’t believe that there is 1 school in Florida that could play STA,CM & MC all in the same year & Go (3-0) coming out of that blood bath. granted I do agree nationally Dillard is NOT known but have the opportunity to change that starting as soon as next week @ chaminade. Right now we’re just a very very good public school in south Florida with potential to be nationally great by season end.
  16. But with the schedule we have coming up @ chaminade Madonna next Friday @miami central sep 23rd home vs STA aquinas Oct 17 dillard can prove a lot in the next few weeks. One game at a time.
  17. Solid list, but in my opinion if Venice and cardinal gibbons made this list then Dillard high school should have made the top tier 4 list. granted I get it cardinal gibbons is a defending champion & Venice was a champion last year. But both teams lost a lot to graduation & as for cardinal gibbons they lost a few pieces in transfers as well. cardinal gibbons lost in a scrimmage to a below Avg Blanche ely team, scoring only 7 points. they scored 0 points in a kick off classic matchup Vs chaminade Madonna. & they scored 11 points in a 11-6 win vs a dematha team that’s a shell of the dominant force they use to be. as for Venice. They were ran out of their stadium by img two weeks ago. Then they were pretty much being ran out of their stadium this past Friday by MNW before making things interesting late but ultimately coming up short. Dillard on the other is 28-2 over the last 3 years. (36-4) over the last 4 years, Haven’t lost a regular season home game since October 30th 2017 (18-0) at home. went toe to toe with STA AQUINAS @ AQUINAS last year & should have won but fell short (23-13), they were in the broward county vs USA showcase & won their matchup (35-0) over maryland #5 ranked team in Rock Creek Christian Academy. & was The Only team in the showcase to shutout their opponent.
