  1. I am a big fan of Chandler Coach Rick Garretson (former Servite player and former Servite Offensive Coordinator), and I was one of his coaches at Servite.

But even if that weren't true, I have to say that this looks like a cake-walk for Chandler HS. Under normal circumstances, I'd say Chandler by 4 TDs. But Chandler is also looking to avenge the 20-15 loss to Saguaro in the state championship game last season, so this is going to get ugly for Saguaro.

    Go Chandler Wolves!

Are you kidding me Sambo. Cent10 lost to Mater Dei. Servite skinned by La Mirada.  La Mirada Sammy.

Yeah, Servite is way down this season, but they appear to be looking good for the future.

The varsity appears to be starting something like 7 sophs, 5 jrs, and a freshman. In addition, there are at least 3 jrs with chances to start after the sit out period.

Add to that, the JV team is 2-1, and has outscored its opponents 107-28.

And the Freshmen team is 3-0, and has outscored its opponents 89-42, including this win over Yorba Linda's JV team:

Servite had the double whammy of graduting 19 starters, and then seeing 6+ Top underclassmen transfer out, including their QB heir apparant who followed his QB coach to St. Paul.  Servite is finished for the year and will be giving freshmen quality playing time.

Both the Freshman 40-0  and JV 32? -0 won this week, so Servite is treating 2022 as a rebuild year.  No pressure, just get quality reps in for the underclassmen.  The Senior class is depleted.

You should be since neither one of the brothers is a starter and Hoi didn't even have a number.

I'm confused by that statement. Vaka Hansen was a two-way starter for Servite last season, and most certainly would have been just as valuable this season for the Friars if he had stayed. Maybe he should return to the Friars...he could play right away, I believe, without any need for a Sit Out Period.

I offered the best of the best outside of Cali. They were always frightened beyond belief to move forward. Always had a lame excuse. When's the last time Servite played an OOS game east of the Mississippi? 1982?

When was the last time a team from east of the Mississippi came to California to play Servite? What about that Moeller?

  6. This is a huge loss for the Friar family. Not only was he to be a returning starter on the offensive line, but he also was the winner (as a junior) of the coveted #78 jersey, which goes to the player who most exemplifies leadership, dedication, and outstanding work ethic.

May he rest in peace with Our Lord in Heaven.
