Good interview.  I like Zach’s rankings. He’s a big SOS guy, which is the foundation of The Tiers

I hope he can come back to defend his pre season rankings once they drop.  And then come back periodically to defend the rankings

One of the best parts of putting out rankings in discussing the thought process behind the results

As far as Center Grove not playing OOS games, that may be changing.   Both Center Grove and Carmel have been removed as members of the MIC Conference, effective with the 2023 season.   Neither has found a new conference and it appears that at least for the foreseeable future that both will schedule as independents which may mean some OOS games for both teams.  Carmel already schedules at least one OOS game each season while according to a source at Center Grove they currently have two open dates each season and those go to traditional rivals Decatur Central and Whiteland.    But to another point, and that is have you looked at a possible event in Indianapolis where four Indiana teams (Warren Central, Indy Cathedral, Center Grove and Carmel) would play against a team from each border state.    Male and Trinity (Kentucky), St. Xavier, St. Ed's and St. Iggy (Ohio), M.L. King, Novi Central Catholic, Rockford (Michigan) and Wilmette Loyola Academy, Park Ridge Maine South, and Chicago Mt. Carmel would all be within a two-hour drive from Indy (no plane fares and easy commute for fans).    In addition, Indianapolis and LOS are great places for sporting events with the assistance of a local sports board that will do whatever it can to help establish the event.    Years ago small conferences would hold one day events at LOS and Cathedral has played there a couple of times as well.   So it seems they would be receptive to the idea as well.   Midwest teams seem to get left out of all the major high school football events in the country, this would give them all a chance to showcase their talent.
