Anybody take look at 247 top 300 recruits for 2023.  Cal has less than GA and barely head of small states like Louisiana

way behind Texas and Florida.

more proof that state has fallen on hard times.

110% convinced the Cali would not have any elite teams without recruiting!!!

Yet Cali has won a share of the MNC each season since 2017.

Take a look at CA 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes. Those classes will top the 2023 class. The 2023 class was a down year for Cal.. Prime example , look at MD they're led by 24, 25 kids.

Cali simply been on athlete decline for better part of decade or more.  It’s probably the politics moving people out.

MD and SJB do absolutely nothing different than TX privates like Parish Episcopal and Prestonwood Christian. They just have more talented pool of players to choose from than TX does.

Those two put a lot more time and money into roster management. When Texas and Georgia decide to join the 21st century and stack teams with  35-40 players with DIV-1 players it will be interesting to see how they match up. Even the traditionally tough California publics are rarely competitive with the power privates. Once competitive and some years winnable games are now beat downs.

Don’t be idiot about this!  The numbers don’t lie.
Stop the fake news and better yet outright lies concerning Tx private schools and talent pool

Not lying. In CA the best ballers crave to play at the top privates. In TX the best go to their respective publics for the most part.

100%

And it’s the same for NJ and the DC area. The best players are pretty much all going to privates.

What was the issue with them two SJB-MD when DLS was kicking ass and taking names across that state. The only difference now is how they recruit and what they are willing to do today to get those players.  In simple terms for you- many more players are being offered free tuition along with transportation or some kids get host families.

Winning like this has zero honor especially considering they compete for state titles against teams that don’t have the luxury of paying for transfers.
I ask again does the state of California care about kids and creating level playing field for all student athletes?  If they did this fake hs football wouldn’t be happening and the best teams would be roughly what DLS was give or take little bit.

Sports are cyclical. It was DLSs time way back then. Today, it's MD and SJBs time. With time I'm sure another CA power private will awaken and rise. This happens in most states outside of TX and GA.

Quit taking up for them.  They took recruiting to another level and are stacking their teams with well over 30 d1 kids.  They take sr year only studs that already have great offers!!!

it’s really sickening 🤮

Even in their banner years, DLS never had anywhere near the number of studs matriculating at MD and SJB. “ I have no idea how to beat this team.” Bruce Rollinson 2001. He found a way. Since I can't outcoach him, I'll lap him with talent.
