Hughes hasn’t played anybody and Mill Creek has been beating much better teams. These are the top 4 teams each has beaten so far. Give me the insight on why Hughes is still better. So the team lucky enough to be placed number 1 in a preseason guessing poll, is immune from dropping regardless of performance, but the rest of the teams that didn’t win the lottery are held to a different standard? It’s doesn’t make any sense. It just seems like made up rules to ensure the top few teams you put high up in the preseason opinion poll are guaranteed for one to win it. Georgia was vaulted number 1 but then got bumped down after barely beating Missouri. You have to show up every week. And you ranking teams for THAT WEEK. Not the preseason guessing poll. The former is made up of panels of dozens of coaches and writers with voting privileges. Way more Official and monitored than in the HSFB game.
