I agree that BG and MD belong at the top.  IMG at 4 is ok.  It’s tough to place perfectly 100 top teams.

That's why we use our criteria:

1. Team must be undefeated

2. Team must have at least one win vs elite OOS team

3. Team must have strong SOS

It makes selecting your #1 a tad bit easier.

You just selected BG.

who is we?  It’s just you, which is fine.

1 of your criteria eliminates choosing the best team.  But you do put the effort in.

We is anyone posting on my site. If you're here it's "we" and "ours."

IMG has a stronger SOS than BG

IMG has best win amongst the two teams (#6 SJP)

IMG opponents have a higher winning%

IMG has wins vs three probable State Champions

You keeping ignoring the most important facts, which don’t help you.  And MD is the best.

Understand the Bergen Catholic-Miami Central comparisons.    Looking just at a similar opponent game, Chaminade-Madonna, there is no doubt that the Central game was more competitive.    Another factor in Central's favor is the Gorman game, they played them as close as anyone.   The two three-point losses to Norland should not be held against them as well.   Without being too critical, they played four good teams all year and lost all four games.    Competitive yes, but losses none the same.   Not that Bergen's schedule is that impressive either.     New Jersey was way down this year.    I guess as I go forward, may want to consider that Central is too low and Bergen is too high, but don't feel comfortable putting a four-loss team over Bergen.

Anyone can pull out 2 teams out of a 100 and say, hey, this doesn’t make sense.  Doesn’t mean your poll is not very good.  That’s not the standard.  I think getting #1 right and the top 10 are more important.  You’re on the mark there and BC had a good year.  Who’s gonna cry about MC with 4 losses being in the 50s?
