mm. not sure I see Cen10 among top 11-20.. Closer to 25-30. Cen10 gets rated higher these days based on what they've done as overall program. They are still solid, but their rating the past few years has been inflated. They needed a few key transfers to be among the discussion of "competing" with MD and Bosco this season. If not for these guys  and a few more depth transfers, Cen10 is irrelevant this year from a national scene.

Let's see how they fair vs BG. Losing to a power private will never adversely affect them in the national polls as long as they continue to be the #1 public in CA, which I feel they still are.

I agree. But they got a huge transfer in Husan Longstreet which is potentially the most impactful transfer in Cali this coming season. Cen10 addressed their biggest weakness at the QB position. The kid is a stud and has an incredibly high ceiling. I’m not saying that this makes Cen10 a top 10 national team, but it does make them better.

Lol. Won't happen. Playoff placement is based on CalPreps rankings. Losing to MD, Bosco, and Gorman will not hurt Cen10. Actually, it will bolster their stature in CalPreps.

No public in America is a match for MD and BG. If those are their only two losses at season's end, they'll be in a great place!

Exactly. Cen10s SOS will be extrememly high for playing those games. Winning them won't matter.

They now have five (5) Top 100 players. Only IMG has more at this time with 7. They absolutely can be considered one of the top public programs at this time.

I think I read somewhere ESPN is coming back out with a top 25 this year. Is there any truth to that?

The quality xfers they added this offseason should make an immediate impact. We'll know for sure after the SFA game.
