    Cita beat summer creek by 6 beat Dickinson by 1 beat ridge point by 3 (Lost to NS twice but I’m not assessing that score)

    Cita is playing liberty. The same can be said though of your Folsom’s and cathedral Catholics. I don’t see them jumping into these challenges either with top states 4-10

    I said back in Houston tomball and Cita had more competitive games than Desoto and Guyer did in DFW. They lost to Klein collins 31-8 in district

    Katy was a non factor this year which is why I said Katy this past season was the exception. But both SLC and Guyer would have lost by 14.+ to north shore last year neither Guyer nor SLC beat playoff Katy in 18, 19 or 20. They were too physical for them upfront

    But you can’t just stop there. How dominant were Atascocita and tomball in Houston compared to Guyer and Desoto in Dallas? Cita and tomball had much more competitive games.

    NS is one of the two best programs in 6A, that’s not in dispute. Regardless, they’ve struggled more during the seasons since ‘18 than the best from DFW have. with the exception of last year, I think Katy could have beaten the best from DFW on any given night, especially in the playoffs…a team that is 2d best in GHA

    I don’t need a recap. It was 49-38 28-21 at half (NS score right before halftime) and 35-24 going into the 4th. that’s not a rout! Lol The only thing eye opening was that Katy allowed 49

    Yes steeler I watch every game. They didn’t dog walk Katy in the playoffs that year. It came down to a few key stops in the 4th qtr for them to pull away. Don’t confuse it with ‘19 playoffs.

    That’s not true. They struggled with Tompkins last year, and Katy in ‘18. They would have cake walked DVs DFW playoff schedule though. Not one team would have given much resistance. Why? GHA>DFW

    What difference does it make if it’s Reg or playoffs? It’s a whole season impact. Nonetheless, Chill would be the best team they played but only in ‘20. Desoto could be also in ‘20 and ‘21

    The whole season steeler. ‘18 was their most dominant season, ‘20 probably their 2d best championship team and they struggled early on with shadow creek and Klein collins at no time does DV struggle with DFW teams whether Reg season or playoffs top to bottom GHA plays more competitively than dfw imo. Doesn’t mean DFW doesn’t have good teams in the state but they aren’t as consistent.

    No, because Westlake has walked through the Austin area with ease. NS and Katy in title years have not walked through Houston with ease. I told you before that Duncanville should have had an easy title run last year because NS was young and Westlake was in the other div. they dog walked DFW but stumbled in the title game. That speaks to not only Duncanville but DFW in relation to the rest of Texas imo

    Yes it does matter steeler. When Katy destroyed cedar hill in ‘20, Katy entered as a 2d place district team. Chill walked through the best of DFW What DFW teams beat Allen at home much less by 21 points? They’ve had 11 seasons to do it, but Houston Atascocita did it with a less than elite team. Allen was top 5 in DFW last year

    Yes and DFW won none! NS and their difficulty managing their schedule is the argument in ‘20 chill was a DFW top 5 team losing to Duncanville 28-14. Who beat chill in the D2 finals and what was the score? who handed allen their first regular season home loss in over 11 years?

    Lol no they haven’t. I just went through the teams you listed and their seasons. They’ve absolutely played the best of DFW had to offer since ‘18. Hell, chill played them to within 14 in ‘20 who went on to the D2 finals.

    Allen, Martin and Ryan last year weren’t going to give them a more competitive game than sLC. Westfield and spring aren’t all there is to Houston. when was the last time DFW won any 6A title steeler?

    My point was Westfield loses in the playoffs regardless of who they play. In addition to losing to Desoto and Duncanville in b2b years, previous to that they’ve lost to Guyer, Longview and lufkin. And they had a successful regular season all those years too

    Ryan is 5A allen was last competitive in ‘18, lost to Rockwall in ‘19, trinity in ‘20 and SLC in ‘21 guyer was 6-6 in ‘18, lost to SLC in ‘19 Martin was 5-6 in ‘18 and lost to SLC in ‘20 and ‘21 Last year Guyer would be the only team that was on par with SLC or Desoto, the rest were not. the true assessment is that DFW is a weaker region that Houston in general

    Allen is playing SJB, atascocita vs Liberty AZ, and DV and Desoto are finalizing OOS schedules I doubt if any of these teams will be preseason top 3 in Texas. But here they are with their schedules. What’s OLU, SMs, Folsom and cathedral catholic schedule like?

    Westfield and spring lose every year in the playoffs. Nothing new. Neither has been to a semifinal in decades. But you’d know that steeler if you actually watched the games.

    Games are about match ups. Why the hell does NS have a harder time, yearly, with Houston area teams than DV does with DFW area teams?
