DBPs nationally-ranked hoops team had some great OOS wins this week!
McEachern GA 76-50
Columbus FL 79-74
IMG FL 96-92

This is a surprise. I thought Sabella was a more likely guy to go...

With all respect, are you on drugs? You used the word fairness not I.
Yes, I am batting 1000. 😅
I hope you're good looking, because stupid and ugly is virtually impossible to overcome!

Nor did I, (guess you did not notice that).😉
Maybe you did, but I don't see any reference by me to fairness.
Hey, you're wrong again! (No real surprise...)
Batting a 1000!

Look up Logical Fallacies and see if you can figure out what is wrong with this post. 😉
What's wrong is that someone thinks there's a fallacy here...

They were gifted by DBP's illustrious coach, dear Dan, a member of teh team. The team lost fair and square. Get it yet?
Didn't say anything about fairness (guess you didn't notice that). Said it was an excruciating way to lose.

Too bad there are no awards for outplaying an opponent. 😉
So following your "logic" then, you should not try to outplay your opponent?
Gotta admit, it's a novel approach to sports!

Man up. The scoreboard was clear. Mistakes and injuries are part of the game.
Yeah, they needed Bosco to screw up to win...

It was lucky the kid dropped a TD. Right in the chest. That was as bad as Jackie Smith’s drop. Bad luck on both sides.
the O never scored Im as big a Bosco homer as there is but if you can’t score offensively then you sort of suck
evenly matched. Bosco’s D sucked on the first drive. No luck there.
Bosco stopped themselves. delbarton get a lucky play on defense, without which they lose!
It certainly happens. But you don't want to rely on luck to win...

They dropped a TD right in the receiver’s hands in the end zone. Bosco’s 1st score was a DT intercepting the ball and running for 20 yards.
2 gifts. We lost. We could score.
no excuses. We play next week, we win. They win the week after.
I've always considered a pick-6 solid defensive play. Furthermore, Bosco stuffed your runner in the end zone for a safety -- even more solid play.
delbarton was outplayed and still won. they lucked out.

To lose their 4th in 5 yrs.
Losing in the finals is better than losing in the quarters...

yes. thank you. Horrific call, on the road in the playoffs. Who in the eff thinks this stuff up.
Yes, they're gonna live with this one for a long time. I think Bosco missed out on a solid chance to make the finals here...

The O has to score at least once. The O put up 0 points.
delbarton won on a gift from Bosco, and they know it...

They never do!!! DBP should be playing Delby/SJR next week. And BC should've played a team with a pulse by now.
Yes, I agree, Bosco shoulda won 16-7. They outplayed delbarton.

Delby deserved the win. 😪
Don't know about that. They scored one offensive touchdown, and did nothing offensively after that. Bosco's fumble wasn't caused by delbarton. Self-inflicted wound. Bosco shoulda won 16-7...

Talking seed-wise. #11 beat a #3.
Seems that seeding doesn't mean that much. Maybe the guys in Robbinsville didn't get things right...

Gotta be excruciating to outplay a team and lose to them...

Maybe none. The 4 teams they lost to are all top 100-25 teams, leaving aside DePaul, which some had ahead of Bosco preseason. Bosco might be top 250-300. Almost by definition there will be no signature wins.
Maybe?

Underwhelming? One bad loss to DPC. Played #6 SJP very tough. I'd call losing to #5 C-M by 41 points on national TV pretty underwhelming! Everyone knew this season was going to be a rebuilding one for DBP. Most experts didn’t even have them in any NJ Top 5.
Who is Bosco's "quality" win this year?

Can Sabella survive a loss to pope john?

Unfortunately we might not. Cheese and rice: why can we draw BC or Delbarton or even those cheerleaders from Joes.
we’ll do our best, I promise
Beat Pope John and you get Delbarton...

Great Coaches H.S

How do you measure greatness -- simply by wins? I think a coach who takes average talent and has winning teams every year is much better then one who recruits a local all-star team and wins with that talent.
People seem to forget that John Wooden coached at UCLA for 26 years. He didn't win a national title until his 15th year there. Why? One simple reason: he started recruiting nationally (NYC, Philly and DC).
