Then it’s not a real poll. It’s no different than a catholic school poll. You are eliminating teams before the season starts. At the very least you should call it the National OOS-scheduled only Rankings

Everyone knows that national championships are:
    - solely based on SOS (whose clients, by default, are the only eligible ones)
    - a “poll” that has ordering rules and resembles more of a queue than a poll
    - not on the basis of roster depth
    - not on the basis of performance on the field
    - not based on being the best team

MD will be the unanimous pick for #1 in the country. And when you don’t know what you’re talking about, do no player research, don’t review game film and/or have no science to justify the reasoning, this is what you say:

I know that 9/15 game will be great, it will give MD one national marquee game - BUT it still leaves 8/25 open for MD. This late in the off season are there oppty/teams. Even if it's another Creekside like solid team, who's stepped up to play MD!? Not too many of those teams these days. How long before MD calls it a day and goes with a nine game schedule?

    St. Frances. And it's 9/16 not 9/15.

You must be 15 or a bigot, miami inner city teams have been winning rings & booker t & Northwestern (which is bout a mile from those respective projects) already have NATIONAL championship rings.

yeah those teams were something special last decade. and how does posting that make me a bigot? you're a fool to think they won't be a target.

  4. But that’s not the case. All opinions aren’t equal; some have more validity than others.

    • Maxpreps- experts from CBS Sports
    • HSFB America- NFL Play; author with 40 years in the business
    • SBLive- Sports Illustrated with career sports journalists
    • Massey- providing algorithmic rankings for national outlets for decades
    • Calpreps- Maxpreps (CBS) computer and also the only decider of Southern Section (the largest in the country) rankings.
    • USA Today- the standard for the last 40 years
    • Blue Star- former head of USA Today Preps and journalist with multi-decade experience

You ??? Outside of this message board, which anyone can spin up, do you even have a website where these “polls” are posted? All I see are screenshots of a pdf.

    6/7 isn't 7/7!!!

Let’s be perfectly clear about this “poll” of yours- it’s a random opinion by some dude with a financial stake in it. You’re a promoter and the way you got on that composite poll was by subtweeting your poll everytime Maxpreps tweeted out theirs. So it’s just a function of promotion, not expert opinion.

This poll is about as legit as a Don King boxing poll. That’s why the only people who honor it are MC and SFA fans.

Now that I think of it, this $5k you’ve been giving out isn’t so much of a prize as it is a rebate.

Los Al finished 6th in Cali. Mater Dei finished 2nd.

I don’t care what state you are. The 2nd best team shouldnt beat the 6th team 52-0. That’s not real football.

That shows you that SJB and MD are not playing real HSFB. It’s in between HSFB and college. Lol

just like most things in America there are those who have and have not. but using Los Al isn't a good example here. they had more than enough firepower to at least do something and they rolled over like they were giving up a piece of a$$ in prison. they did the same against AHP and got a similar result.

as far as playing "real" HSFB- it's an accredited high school in good standing with CIF and it's football. that's real high school football.

You can’t brag about 2 all star teams stacking all the talent in a very talented area of the country, then beating every team they play in state and out. That doesn’t reflect the typical football being played in California.

Check this out. A small Idaho team beat the tar out of a California State Finalist

Reno High Nevada beat Grant California who won state

Red Mountain Arizona beat Mater Dei Catholic who won state.

Grant and MDC are more typical of high school football in Cali than SJB and MD are. They are the outlier

very much the outlier. yet they've stayed within the rules. the model to win is there for many of those private schools to take.

but let's be honest- typical football in CA is garbage compared to a whole lot of other states. Grant and MDC are actually in the top few percent of teams in the state.

Texans are starting to get what? You guys act as if MD and SJB are mainstream and routine. They’re outliers meaning their model isn’t sustainable, they’re pilfering your top talent in your state.  It will crash down one day, then what?

MD/SJB = #1/#2. By definition, they are outliers and they do everything within CIF bylaws.

There's plenty of talent in CA, only a fraction go to those 2 schools. And I would love it if other schools were able to do what MD and Bosco do because cali football stinks and it's starting to get boring watch other state champs bomb against these two teams. All things come to an end, but not for the next few years.

    idk wtf Block is
