  1. I don't care what they achieved, don't use them as some sort of reason for the other teams not being that good. The teams they're above would crush them that play in 6A
  2. That's not your point. You used them as an example of a kid doing whatever it takes to go to a certain school even if it's bypassing other schools that offer him the same thing. That's not the case with the Bakersfield kid. He couldn't go to a school in Bakersfield offering him what he wanted. Garces is a small private school in Bakersfield.
  3. Who cares, that means nothing. When they're actually a top 10 team in Texas get back to me
  4. The rise of SOC. Please. They were down 42-7 to Duncanville. That has more to do with 5A
  5. Of course he could've, but they didn't offer him what him and his momma felt was best for him. Cali didn't have anything but online classes in public schools till August of 2021
  6. They're not playing at the same level as years past. As soon as Duncanville became Duncaville, those two teams have been mediocre the majority of the years
  7. You picked an example of a kid that didn't have the same choices as the kids being mentioned
  8. It's a big difference when you have choices that are much closer to you. What choice did this kid have that was closer to him?
  9. They don't, because what they want is much closer. Just like kids have been going to Duncanville from all over the south corridor these past few years. Why go to Desoto/ Cedar Hill when Duncanville is offering you the same thing. The rise of Duncanville, can be traced to the demise of Cedar hill and Desoto
  10. I know why you brought it up. That's a horrible example. How often is a kid coming from Bakersfield to these schools. That's an outlier that took a black swan event Why would a kid who lives much closer to SJB, Mater Dei and Servite attend Bishop Amat, JSerra or Santa Margarita?
  11. Tell us again how Carson, Long Beach, Compton etc are places that Bishop Amat will be fighting for with SJB and Mater Dei 🤡
  12. La Puente is a city in LA county, but that's not the area of LA county they're pulling from. You brought up La Puente because of your Bishop Amat statement that asked why don't they get the players Mater Dei and SJB get. When location was brought up, you came up with a guy from Bakersfield that transferred because of Covid
  13. Nice of you to pay to try and find stuff https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bakersfield.com/sports/rising-centennial-football-star-kerry-transferring-to-national-power-mater-dei/article_6fee348e-ddab-11ea-86a4-cb271be1f36c.amp.html Covid 19 led to this kid coming to Mater Dei
  14. So you have no clue. LA county is 21 miles to Mater Dei. San Bernardino county is 29 miles away. Riverside county is 28 miles away. All of these areas that they're getting players from, don't have privates other than Servite and SJB to deal with. I'll let you look at a map and try to figure that out. I've never heard of a kid from San Diego County playing for Mater Dei but if they claim they get students from there, I guess they do.
  15. Some kids do, and those kids usually aren't around another private school that plays at the top level. How many kids are attending Bosco or MD from the San Gabriel Valley do you think? That's the area that Bishop Amat is from
  16. So you're going to drive 35 minutes to an hour longer just because? You're grasping now because you don't know the area that these kids are coming from.
  17. No kids from Hacienda Heights, Glendora, San Dimas, Walnut, Rowland Heights etc are going to SJB. For the same reason
  18. Your point is wrong. You have no clue about what you're talking about. No kid from Long Beach will travel up north on the 605 passing the 5 fwy. That's not happening. When you come to Cali and take that FWY at 7 am get back to me
