It would be Valdosta’s first region title since 2016 and first in the highest class since 2011. It would be Colquitt County’s seventh in 10 seasons. In the 2022 game, Colquitt scored twice in the fourth quarter to break open a 10-6 game. Both teams had less than 200 yards of total offense. This season, Colquitt County is tied for second in Class 7A scoring per game (45.9). QB Neko Fann, a three-year starter, holds most of the school’s passing records. He has thrown for 2,002 yards and 26 touchdowns this season and can run a little (305 rushing yards). Ny Carr has 856 yards receiving and 16 touchdowns. He’s committed to Miami. Landen Thomas, a five-star tight end, is committed to Florida State. Valdosta is a ball-control, defensive-minded team. Todd Robinson has passed for 783 yards and rushed for 561.
