That's right and as it turns out the MD schedule really isn't all that good when you really breakdown the teams they played!!!! The truth is a public program will never win another MNC again unless they beat a Power Private like MD, SJB, IMG, BG, etc. in said season. The pollsters are now all in sync. The days of winning a Natty after going undefeated vs a weak schedule is over. SOS is the paramount criteria now and forever. And Desoto women BB has done well and is the new Texas power. the point is those programs WANTED to be a national power…and they were by proving it on the court.
