It's HSFB. There's no rhyme or reason at anytime. Anything can happen. SJR lost to St Anthony, Delby beat St Anthony, SJR was right there with BC, etc.

Sjr was missing two starting LBs,a safety, and a kicker. If you didn't notice LB is a position they cannot afford to lose players at. MLB goes down vs BC. BC goes on a 80yd drive, running off tackle immediately after he goes down. All the teams mentioned above have a combined record of 19-6.

Bosco is 4-5 and lost to a 3-5 team.

    It's apples/oranges baller

If BC and SJR are on the same side of the bracket you really think there's another team out there that can beat DBP? At the minimum they should get to the semifinal round.

I'd have to say Delbarton and Pope john could beat them. Both beat DePaul, while Delbarton blew DePaul out.

No.  McCoy was bad.  You had to keep him to 6 throws a game.  And they did.  But he could move.  Very hard to sack.  And he didn’t lose games except if you blame him indirectly for no production.   But he didn’t throw more than 6-8 times a game.

STA had negative 1 yards rushing at the half.   That why we won.  2 times we got the ball inside their 10 due to a fumble or special-teams play.  We ran it in.  Hanks was a beast.

McCoy was a very good WR.  He left as a Jr and came back as a Sr with conditions.   He was never benched until the last game against Joes at home.  I saw him play every game.  Those were his stats for the season.  6 TDs or whatever.  He didn’t make dumb plays but he couldn’t make good plays either.

He was awful that final Joes game at Bosco at night.  DeVito as a sophomore finally came in, and Bosco started a come back.  Wes struck again.  He stopped a perfect bullet in his chest and hands in the end zone.

he was someone we just nicely want to forget.

With all that said, you'd be blind if you said current is situation is better

Can you expand, meaning do you think Bosco is better than depaul?

I thought DePaul was a big bigger and faster.

Bosco’s secondary wasn’t great and after that 3* transferred to DePaul last week, it got worse.  The secondary ultimately lost the game giving up the 50-yard TD and then tge 25-yard 2-point conversion

james was running up the middle for at least 5 yards a pop.  The DL wasn’t great

there we’re a few WR drops.

And the QB was average or a bit worse.  Definitely not worse than J Batts or Wes McCoy.  But definitely not great.  He fits in perfectly with a not-great team

wasn’t the pick 6 off the receiver’s hands?

im not sticking up for the QB—he’s average at best—but the rest were average at best too.

I heard lamorte wasn’t doing well in a bad league.

    but I trust your take

Bro, McCoy beat the #1 team in the nation (St. Thomas Aquinas). This guy just lost to a 3-5, group 3 school, that lost to Pope John! Wes threw 6tds/2int before being benched. Ole buddy has 7td/7int and counting... you're joking right?

DBP blowout. Don't let the weather delays cloud the truth.

Both teams played in the same weather with the same delays. Some are saying the weather delays are the only reason they didn't get 40 balled. All scenarios are hypothetical so lets just stick to the facts. Bosco has a solid defense. Cass Tech has an athletic offense. Cass Tech scored 14pts on SJR. So the question would be Cass Tech Offense vs Bosco Defense.

My guess is that Joes will do well.  I’ve been joking about Erasmus

Bosco’s D is better.  Not great.  Better.

Jordan is no Darius, no AQM, no Strizak, no Bryan Murphy, no Trateau.

that LB is good.  LL is good.  The younger guys got better.  Ramos.  So, the D had to get better as they got a year under their belts

the O is not nearly as solid as last year’s.  But Bush is good.  The backup is nice.  The QB is learning the playbook but you can see why Bosco took him so late.  The OL is so young, but they will be very very good—just not next week.  Mays is good.  That Frosh looks like an eventual P5 recruit.

very impressed for such a young team given that Bosco doesn’t get the top recruits

Yes Sabella gets the most out of his guys. They're a top 100-150 team for a reason. Joe's will make them earn it though. Thus far Sabella/Bosco owns Tony Karcich field.

It that happens, your FL trip is going to be a nightmare.

I originally thought so, but after speaking to some locals (Ft. Lauderdale), being instructed to pay attention to the trenches, I expect BC to drag them physically. CM has plenty of athletes but they are EXTREMELY SMALL in the trenches. BC will cut CM possessions, not surrender big play, win special teams battle, and grind them down. Go take a look at the CM roster. BC is not a big team, but they're much bigger upfront than CM.
