Then it’s not a real poll. It’s no different than a catholic school poll. You are eliminating teams before the season starts. At the very least you should call it the National OOS-scheduled only Rankings

Everyone knows that national championships are:
- solely based on SOS (whose clients, by default, are the only eligible ones)
- a “poll” that has ordering rules and resembles more of a queue than a poll
- not on the basis of roster depth
- not on the basis of performance on the field
- not based on being the best team

MD will be the unanimous pick for #1 in the country. And when you don’t know what you’re talking about, do no player research, don’t review game film and/or have no science to justify the reasoning, this is what you say:

Cen10 is, definitely, a worthy top tier opponent. They’ve proven that over the years. The problem is that its Gorman’s only top tier game this year. They usually schedule 2-3 a year since Nevada doesn’t have any competition outside of Liberty every few years. Maybe they’re going to be down this year?

Cen10 wasn't even the best public in CA last season! Most seasons they are 28+ points behind Tier 1s like MD, SJB, BG, IMG and SFA. Vgood opponent. Not elite by any stretch for the sake of this conversation regarding BGs need to schedule elite, OOS competition.

I too have Gorman rated higher than anyone other than MD, going into this year - based on play on field and what they have returning for this coming season. Gorman returns enough at the key spots to justify it.

1. MD, 2. Gorman, 3. IMG, 4. SFA, 5. St. John Bosco..

MD returns 18 starters. Need to replace two on the OL, and one MLB.

Gorman does lose Branch and their alot of their secondary, but OL and QB, RB and TE were big time last year and all are back, will carry them.

Bosco, has to break in a new QB, and WRs will be young, inexperienced, they only return 2 starting OL, need to replace the defensive line. It will be interesting to see how they replace the OL, they don't have elite level lineman in their lower levels/program. They will be solid at RB, LB and in the Secondary. But they don't have enough to be rated top 4, going in. Will see when they play these games.

SFA doesn't return any key WRs, but added two WR transfers and a RB transfer. They have one returning OL, but do have depth but inexperience. Its their defense that returns 8 starters and tons of depth. Van Burren at Qb and Williams at RB are the key skill returners.

But it's going to nice to see, that for the first time I can recall, the potential top 5 will play one another or a common opponent, something haven't seen til this season. Come Tuesday, you'll see the top game of the season will be finally released.

The Mission game was a fluke.

What was a fluke was when Cen10 only lost to MD by 5 points in 2021.

Also note that Cen10 had the chance to host SFA in 2023 but wouldn't. That decision alone puts them on an inferior level as MD and SJB.

Let’s agree to disagree for now and debate this on Thursday. Lol

Let’s say it was a miscommunication more then they didn’t want too.

And I agree Cen10 isn’t and will probably never be on the same level as MD and Bosco again. They are a public school in SoCal only so much talent to go around lol
