The Rockets were able to achieve what 99.9% of the teams in America couldn't: An unblemished, undefeated season (14-0), along with at least one win vs a top-ranked elite or nationally-relevant OOS team (IMG). If DVs OOS win this season would've been against the likes of MC, SJB, MD, IMG, SFA, etc. rather than Jones, they would've been in the MNC mix for sure. Plus it would demotivate power pubs like MC, ESL, DF, Kahuku, Allen, DS. etc. from continuing to challenge themselves vs elite OOS teams. Remember, MC was crowned our #1 for two reasons: 1. They ended the season will an undefeated, unblemished record 2. They beat one of the best and most feared HSFB teams in America (IMG) on the road To me that's the blueprint going forward for every team to follow with regards to earning a MNC. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
